What I don't get about this endless conversation is that those who sit in the 'we must let them all in or you're racist' camp can't see that there is a massive ****ing problem. We don't have room for them all, we can't afford to home, clothe, feed and wipe their arses, while we ignore problems at home. Not everyone in that march is far right, they just aren't. There are a load of ordinary people who are genuinely concerned that we are being colonised. Black or white, absolutely no middle ground here.
I know your comment was aimed at Sucky, but you're wrong mate, I think it's something like 36,000 in 9 months, that's an invasion. Whether I agree with those coming over on the boats or not, don't even come in to it, despite me thinking it's illegal and shouldn't be happening, but suggesting it's not an invasion is just totally wrong, that's exactly what it is and until people start debating this problem properly it will lead to more populist outcomes.
I was listening to a debate the other day between locals and migrants, the migrant was asked why he chose to come to the UK, his reply was because Islam is welcome here. Social media will have you believing that’s the case but it’s more nuanced than that. I think there’s those who believe what you say, if we don’t let them all in you’re a racist, and there are those who are like don’t let any in and shoot the boats and the majority of people who are probably in the middle who know there’s an issue that needs addressing whilst also fulfilling our role to offer genuine cases of asylum.
