I am heading back to NZ later this month, has anyone seen Ed Sheeran in concert, he is in Christchurch in January, just wondering whether it is worth going? I'm not a big fan of his music, but is it worth seeing?
Have you no Dignity?Tickets bought to see Deacon Blue at the OVO arena Wembley Friday Oct 3rd
Lol tickets were a reasonable price £68 each and they better bloody play dignity. Just worked it out, it was 35 years ago I saw them at the old Wembley arenaHave you no Dignity?

Is it me has the gigs in Hull been disappointing this year?
In 2024 I saw Lightening Seeds, Shed Seven, Paul Weller, The Pretenders, Ocean Colour Scene, Cast Embrace, Lust For Life tribute and The Zutons.
In 2023 I saw Space, John Power, Noel Gallagher, Inspiral Carpets, Gaz Coombes, Pete Doherty and Shed Seven acoustic.
This year I've only been three gigs in Hull, Space, Ocean Colour Scene and The Cribs. I've nothing else planned as well.
Frank and Walters are playing Wrecking Ball in November
Agree, the Connexin Live was supposed to be a game changer, it hasn't happened and I'm still seeing tour dates for Leeds, York, Lincoln and missing out Hull.Is it me has the gigs in Hull been disappointing this year?

It’s operated by ASM and they get blown out the water by AMG when it comes to booking acts in this size venue.
AMG use their network of venues to offer better rates to the promoter, who will use multiple AMG venues across the country on the same tour at a discount rate.
ASM basically have Connexin Live and York Barbican, everything else they have is arena sized so find it hard to work effectively in this space.
My gripe with Connexin Live is the way it’s been built. Great to have big artists there but it’s such a poor layout. Shame the original plans were squashed by the council.
Hope they're gonna empty Royal Station Hotel to accomodate 'em all.Wasn’t sure where to put this, but this is great news I think.
Worst case it brings hundreds of people from all over the world into Hull to spend their cash!
