Good player but made of glass. Just not reliable at all. 25 in January, won’t get much better. He’s another I believe is done here
The bit you said about him being a deep thinker sparked something on a lighter note. The wife and I were watching all the play off final post match stuff in the days afterwards and it was amusing when a couple of interviewers got to Cirkin. All the other players were giving quick soundbites but Cirks was like 'in the beginning there was the word'. The camera would move off to catch more stuff going on, then back to Cirks a few minutes later and he is still talking to the same poor interviewer. I like the lad and hope he gets back to his best, here or if he moves on.
I agree. He’s had a lot go on in life and my gut instinct is he has mental health struggles. May be wrong, no evidence. We’ve all been there so no judgement and I hope he’s coping and improves but he’s been missing a lot and it’s not helping our club.

Sadly I agree - I think he has the ability to step up to the PL, more so than Cirkin, but he is absolutely miles behind the rest of the squad in terms of fitness and reliability. Ideal scenario, he gets a loan to the Championship in January and plays 25+ games without injury
