Currently in Puerto Pollensca. Mallorca having an evening meal at a harbour side restaurant
A most brilliant moon has risen from behind the mountains which is 2380000 miles away ,and people are standing on a two foot wall pointing cameras skywards to get a closer picture.
And moving further away every year, give it time and Brady won't be ruled by it.Well it is much further away than usual![]()
Is there anyone howling at it?Currently in Puerto Pollensca. Mallorca having an evening meal at a harbour side restaurant

Terrible isn't it. As a Guinness drinker I will refuse a pint if they serve me it in the wrong glass. Petty, maybe, but I ain't having a John Smiths glass.Ordering a pint of one beer and it turning up in some other beers branded glasses.
Ordered a couple of pints tonight of Madri and delivered in Guinness glasses .
Also no I would not usually order Madri but I am in Mallorca with limited chance of an IPA .

Why do people get upset because their beer isn't in the correct glass?
Does it taste different?
Is there less amount?
What's the problem?
Is it being a snob when someone sees you drinking out of a glass with supposedly inferior brand on the side?
It's beer, get the ****er down ya necks and enjoy.![]()

Yeah, it'll ruin the taste, Stevie Wonder always sends his back.Afraid that's me. Bit snobby, If I buy a premium lager for £6 I don't want it in a Carling glass![]()

This sounds like you're more interested in people's perceptions of what you are drinking.Afraid that's me. Bit snobby, If I buy a premium lager for £6 I don't want it in a Carling glass![]()
Straight sided Imperial glass wot holds a pint.
No branding, logos or other such nonsense and definitely no handle.
I've only just got used to the fresh glass every pint conceit (because of hygiene regulations) but do now reluctantly concede that this is probably a good idea.
