If the end game is for him to join us permanently, just leave them there until Summer unless we have injuries as they are going to be guaranteed starters playing at a decent level. We couldn’t guarantee that here with Matazo due back around Xmas and Amir, Gyabi, Slater, Crooks, Palmer and Lundstram in the squad already.

Nah, that's a bullshit story spread by Bullard for his after-dinner/golf speeches. There was two clubs in for him, willing to overlook the medical issues, and city upped the salary and contract length to get him signed... And that was told to me by his father, whilst Bullard was gimping round annoying the **** out of the golfers on the tee in front of us..

It’s a way they can secure the player so anyone else can’t get him unless they pay a lot more I presume, I think he was signed there so they can loan him to this club with no fee and then probably buy him for the same price when the club is able to sign players again,same with the other player we was interested in.

Possible if the club is in a position to push on for a play off then we could see them here in Jan or if the club is not in a position to achieve a play off spot then they could stay there till next summer I presume.

Would Hull City as an entity not have to make a payment to another club?

I imagine in theory you could cook it so that Hull dont pay anything...is he really going to do that to Maribor (and presumably that clubs finances)?
