Burstow has goal number 4
The Bolton fans are raving about him.
I’ve not seen him do a great deal in the 2 games I’ve seen him play for Bolton (although he scored in both games).
He was relatively anonymous yesterday. He did react quickest to a header if the post to score from close range.
I don’t think he’s got much to offer above League One, so hope he scores a hatful of goals and we get as much money back on him as possible.
Not a fan?!I’ve not seen him do a great deal in the 2 games I’ve seen him play for Bolton (although he scored in both games).

Apart from a few moments for us I thought he was more style over substance.
I was hoping he’d prove me wrong at Bolton and look a class above while scoring a hatful of goals.
His goals return so far has been decent but from the snapshot I’ve seen of him, his performances haven’t ‘yet’ change my mind.

That seems reasonable to me.I do think it's forgotten how young Burstow is. Not necessarily in age terms but in how much/little football he's actually played. He's just turned 22, but he's never got more than 1000 minutes in a season and he's only just got past 30 career starts too. Getting 30/40 games under his belt is going to do him the world of good and it's probably only fair to judge him once he's had that
I bit harsh in my opinion, even when he was with us, I thought on balance he was a better bet than Joseph. Often goal scores don't do a lot, but they are in the right place for the most part at the right time.
Certainly, he is very well liked by the Bolton faithful, which is often a good indication.
In the couple bolton games i saw
Burstow looks a step above that level
His link up play, touch
Passing stands out
So does that duberry who was at blackburn last season
Whatever happens to him
He will be a much better player come august 2026 after a season of playing regularly instead of coming off our bench this season
You like repeating yourself?Must have been different games we saw
I watched Saturdays game and he touched the ball 14 times, twice in the box (one of them being his tap in goal).
Id heard he’d being doing well so took an interest in his performance and it wasn’t much to write home about.
I accept I’ve just seen a small sample and hope the lad does well for everyone’s benefit.
He might be better than Joseph but in a few years time that might not be saying much.
does anyonemcann doesnt like visiting wigan does he
