That's just triggered a memory that may explain my sweet tooth.
In the late 60s my Grandma (Gawd bless her, long since departed) bought a Ski yogurt from Jackson's.
In which she discovered a cigarette butt. (Or *** end as we would have said in those days).
Suitably outraged she complained to head office who acknowledged their culpability, and offered her a year's supply of yoghurt, gratis.
She accepted this.
Only one problem. She didn't really like yoghurt and had accepted a weekly allocation of 7 pots.
How to dispose of them?
Well, she had a Grandson (me) who stayed every weekend.
Only he didn't like yoghurt either. (Too sour).
Easy solution. Half a dozen spoons of sugar into the small pot.
Then the unsuspecting youth could stomach it.
I was well into my twenties before my sophisticated new girlfriend (now my wife) patiently explained to me that yoghurt shouldn't crunch.

At least ST's post actually had some sense to it though rather then just the ramblings of someone trying to justify why his heads buried in the sand.
Question for you though, why is it in the past you've asked for or said you'd like to hear the info some of us re the club and transfers etc, but as soon as it's something you refuse to believe despite all the evidence and now explanation, it's all bullshit and we make it all up?

Not much of a holiday when you come back paler than you were before you went.And yes, the holiday was fab thanks, but my back still hurts so that might explain it.

Yes that's right I have said that and would still say it. Big difference though between people sharing what they've heard and then the sort of stuff thats followed more recently which I've been calling out as rubbish (lost all interest, he's skint / bust, fire sale, he's walking away / selling us, administration, nailed on relegation, etc). That's what some have literally said and it's proven rubbish. Yet I'm the one getting attacked!
Some posters ask me reasonable questions, like yours just now and I get slated by some for showing the courtesy of a reasonable reply!

I just feel like he's vary rarely actually delivered on the pitch, if we could get our money back it's down as a failed gamble for me.
I also think after yesterday Sergej will be more pragmatic away and play a 6 and two 8's rather than a 10 to protect the defence, so there'll be much less need for Palmer.
