If our finances were that bad (meaning if the owner was skint), both Hughes AND Panda would have gone long before now, along with some others. The club would not have turned down £10 million for Hughes.
One or both may still end up going, I hope they don't, but it's just life if their heads have been turned or if the money & terms become simply too much for the club to turn down, but it's been crystal clear that the club have been resisting the sale of either (and others).

We haven’t sold Hughes yet, proof the club is solvent. And if we do sell Hughes on Monday, that also proves we are solvent.

There may come a point where the offers are simply too good to turn down (for the club or player). It really isn't hard to understand.
There would have been a fire sale. It would have started way back when there were offers in for Drameh. The evidence is blindingly clear, and has been all along, except for those with their agenda against their own club.
I would hope they will appreciate the urgency on deadline day and work overtime.

I might not like the owner but it's an absolute insult to be told I've got an agenda against my own Club because my opinion differs to yours..I don't think I'd be doing 600 mile round trips if I had any agenda against my Club.
Do you actually go to games,because during your Allam rant years you didnt(in your own words you attended the odd game when you could).

Well run financially sound clubs don't get the bans, wage restrictions, have to live by 1 in 1 out restrictions, can't register players and have to have all deals signed of by the EFL before they can go through.

The owner has ****ed up with the cash management and administration leading to the sanctions. He's also spunked a lot of his own money. I get all that.
I get that some dislike him for those things.
What I don't get is some supporters who seem to take great pleasure in talking the club down, making up and inventing stuff that plainly isn't true. Why would they follow that agenda. It's just bizarre to me.
Yes, I do go to games when I can. I enjoyed Oxford. Great atmosphere, good game, good drama. I gave up my season ticket during the Allam's era. I had personal reasons for doing so. My growing dislike of the Allams, made it a bit easier. Not that that is any of yours or anyone else's business. You travel 600 miles to attend when you can, and if that makes you feel that it puts you in a position to question other's support (of the club I've actively supported now for 56 years during times when, as you know well, it would have been much easier to follow the crowd) then fill your boots, but I don't think it does. It's your choice that you travel, nothing more nothing less, but fair play to you for doing so .
Heaven forbid the owner decides to sell up one day...

I used to stand up for GFAW and admired the fact that he stood by his principles and I certainly didn't like to see others piling on.Now he brings about argument by constantly insulting others and dropping silly little comments designed to stir up reaction at the end of each post.

Are we well run financially? Obviously not according to EFL rules. Have we been pushing FFP to the limit and beyond to get the most competitive squad. Absolutely.
Has the club had cash flow issues? Obviously.
The contention is whether Acun has lost interest, has put the club for sale and is hosting a firesale because he’s run out of money.
Only Acun can answer those questions but actions speak louder than words. Hughes would have gone already if that was the case. Hughes might still go but if he does that might be just it makes good commercial sense for the clubs future.
