    Ok, the other 2 are

    All you need is Love
    Hey Jude

the thing is with the Beatles the range is so extensive from classics like Hey Jude to pop songs like Please Please Me to beautiful songs like Yesterday to catchy numbers like Bungalow Bill and Rocky Racoon …..where do you start to pick 3 ??

They even managed a tribute song to Peter Sutcliffe ...

    ... incredible foresight.

Such a ridiculously unfair title . . . . it must be impossible to pick the best three from the best, most influential, band of all time <doh>

Surely it would have to be 'the best 20 (or 40) Beatles songs (that will live with us (literally) forever

Don't worry, there are no consequences or detailed records kept for future reference ...

    ... it's just a bit of fun <laugh>

No marks will be taken off for mentioning the Frog Chorus or this <whistle>

I hope by the way, that at one time, everyone on this thread has had their photo taken marching across the zebra crossing outside Abbey Road Recording Studios!

    1) Fool on the hill, which has a special meaning for me (those that know me will know why).
    2) The long and winding road, the most popular funeral song ever, by anyone.
    3) Possibly Octopus's Garden 'cos of the impossibilty of anyone thinking of anything like the lyrics within.

Now I've just thought about others similar like Yellow Submarine & Lucy . . . . mindblowing lyrics that don't belong anywhere (unless drugs have been involved <whistle>).

    I've been 'out' associating with a bit of 'Landlord' . . . . goodnight all <hug>
