Yeah, anything else hinging on outgoings feels like a pretty sensible approach. None of those are really problems if they stick around after the window closes, but the combination of them would be quite the albatross over the salary bill. We’re certainly done until we can dispatch at least a couple of them. I imagine there will be down to the wire haggling over those wages of the outgoing lot though. I don’t think any of them will be getting offers higher than we are currently paying them.

Me too. So you could end up with a squad of 26-27, which isn't awful - especially considering Sesay can drop back down to the 21s for a bit

How many can we register though? Players 21 or younger on the 1st of Sept don’t need to be registered but not sure how many we have now. Don’t really want to be in a position where we have to leave someone out ideally

As we’ve seen in the last 24 hours things can move very quickly at this point in the window so wouldn’t necessarily rule out anything happening. Good thing I suppose is we don’t have anyone left who we are sweating about keeping. Couldn’t name you a player I’d be that bothered if it turned out they left before the end of the window

I thought it was their age on 1 January, not 1 September? Which would mean needing to be born after 1 January 2004.

Charles was born before then.
 
By my count, we currently have 26 players who would need to be registered in order to play. Hence getting that down to the 25 limit shouldn't be difficult.

I’m pretty sure it’s the day the summer window closes, haven’t double checked though
