This government has only been in power a year and inherited the clusterfk from the Tories and Brexit where experts told us what would happen. The extra staff and resources this government have thrown at the problem will hopefully start to have an effect. It’s a shame the right wing Brexit loons didn’t focus as much on the total mismanagement of the Tories over the 8 years since Brexit which saw immigration go through the roof. Putting your Trust in Farage who gave you Brexit, contributing mass Ito record immigration is a bit daft imho.

The answer is not voting for Brexit and not listening to experts but we are where we are and the answer now is putting proper resources into tackling the problem which this government is doing. This can’t be changed overnight whatever Farage and GB News tell you. This government inherited the problem of the rights making.
I appreciate immigration is a problem. But it’s not this governments making (Farage, Tory mismanagement and Brexit) but of course they need to sort it out. Why aware all these billionaires chucking fortunes to influence your opinion? They want smaller government and lesss taxes. When we have lost valuable public services and the nhs then the working class gullible may wake up, people backing Reform are being played like a fiddle by Farage and his billionaire backers. I think we know where some of the loyalty lies on this thread. We are on a Sunderland forum, look at the fantastic national coverage the city got this weekend with the fantastic regeneration that has s and is taking place. I certainly hope as an outsider looking in this is put at risk by Sunderland people voting for Reform over immigration which Reforms leader is massively responsible for. They fund the reform campaign mate. To be fair every campaign but the net zero policy is purely from being funded by fossil fuel companies. They funded the Brexit campaign. Everything that hits your inbox is paid for by them. You choose those policies including those that cut their own taxes, they’ve swayed you with their cash.
