That's the whole problem, like you said we need a robust . However countless governments have continually failed to do that. Although it would horrendous if he got in, people will look at the alternatives if they keep failing.
People should be proud to be British, without having to worry about upsetting people for being proud

This government has only been in power a year and inherited the clusterfk from the Tories and Brexit where experts told us what would happen.

The extra staff and resources this government have thrown at the problem will hopefully start to have an effect. It’s a shame the right wing Brexit loons didn’t focus as much on the total mismanagement of the Tories over the 8 years since Brexit which saw immigration go through the roof.
