    1. Burnley are unbeaten in their three Premier League home games against Sunderland (W2 D1), most recently a 4-1 victory in December 2016.

    2 Sunderland have kept a clean sheet in six of their last eight league games against Burnley, including each of the last three in a row. However, they’ve conceded exactly four goals in both of the other two games in this run

    3. Burnley have lost their first home Premier League match of the season in seven of their nine seasons in the competition (W2), with the other two seeing them defeat Man Utd in 2009-10 and Southampton in 2019-20.

    4. Sunderland haven’t won any of their last 24 away Premier League matches in August or September (D12 L12) since a 1-0 victory against Bolton Wanderers in August 2009.

    This will be a tough game, always tough playing a team when it's their 1st home game of the season.

    Let them have the ball at the back, then press like f**k when they step into our half. Lots of energy in both CMs 3, ours has more quality so we need them to take over the game. I really rate Esteve but I'd be targeting the right hand side of the Burnley defence so hopefully a big game from Adingra today
