Former striker Rodney Rowe is our next commercial guest for our upcoming home fixture against Blackburn Rovers.

The Huddersfield-born forward first joined the Tigers in January 2001 from Gillingham, bolstering the firepower of Brian Little’s squad to play alongside Kevin Francis and John Eyre.

Scoring six goals during the second half of his debut campaign, not only did Rowe finish as the club’s top league goalscorer, but he helped the Tigers reach the League Division Three play-offs, where City lost 2-1 over two legs in the semi-finals against Leyton Orient.

Netting in a memorable 3-3 draw against Rushden & Diamonds the following campaign, Rowe scored a total of eight goals in 38 outings for the club before moving to play for Wakefield & Emley.

Fans attending the commercial lounges this weekend will have the opportunity to hear from Rodney in person.

Our award-winning commercial lounges offer the perfect setting to enjoy the match with family, friends, or business associates, and with limited availability remaining, now is the time to secure your place.

Members also have the opportunity to upgrade their matchday experience by exploring one of our exclusive hospitality packages, but be quick! Demand is high and spaces are selling fast!
was just searching Rodney Rowe cos i was trying to find a clip of him winning a penalty which i remember been comically dramatic.
brought up a news story from 98 of him getting done for assault for putting a teenager in a wheelie bin ..
good job tinternet wasnt a big thing back then, or the moral outrage would have never let him sign..

Faux outrage would've spewed forth at our Hull City 'Binnist'...

Friends trying to buy tickets through the club website saying it's very difficult to complete the purchase. Particular issues with selecting seats so they can sit together reportedly. Has anyone else experienced this?

It is when a lot of tickets have been sold. West Upper is best bet. Had a job getting two together near where I wanted to be for Oxford game.

Don't get me started on the Ticket office......Anyway, I rang them to ask when the season cards were going to be posted out. The chap checked my customer number and promptly told me I'd never asked for a card...This was after going to the office and telling them , face to face, in easy to understand terms that I don't have a smart phone so can't use anything down loaded to me. Anyway I received the card in the post the next day, then received a second card three days later.....I laughed rather than cried. End of rant.

It’s taken two games for Faweno and Ajayi to be injured.
Was always going to be a worry, Famewo's injury tho as someone else had mentioned is an impact injury picked up in training, can happen to anyone at any time that and should just be the one game he misses. I wonder tho, if both of their injury records cause concern whether we could see Coyle fill in at CB at some point this season, given how Giles and Drameh have started the season and Williams' undoubted ability as a player he may struggle to fit in at full back without someone picking up an injury

Let's hope it's just this and not a 'Sinik bruise that will put him out for 2 weeks but turns into 2 years'. I was more concerned about the Crooks injury and that his ankle was still swollen a few days after the injury.

You have to wonder if it’s psychological with some players why they spend a lot of time on the sidelines

Coyle CB... not in a million thank you... if that push came to shove and lets hope it doesnt ... Cathal McCarthy...

I reckon it’s a part of it. I don’t doubt that Sinik could’ve been available a lot more than he was. He didn’t play a single minute for us last season. We weren’t exactly blessed on either wing after Millar and Belloumi did their ACLs. Sinik just had an unspecified injury that kept him out for a full season.

James Scott, if you can remember him, had loads of injury problems during his time with us and he didn’t exactly look after himself when injured. Apparently, he just sat at home eating takeaways every other night. I imagine some players just get stuck in a rut and mental health, homesickness etc. plays a massive part.

Make sure you take both cards with you tomorrow as one of them may have been cancelled. This happened to my mate who took the “wrong” one.

Looks like things haven't improved much for him, St Mirren have just shipped him out on loan to Ross County in the second tier to 'regain his confidence'.
