They bleat on about PSR but if you look at their business it’s horrific. Ramsey is about right due ‘English tax’ Elanga paid around £15 million over. Thiaw Milan accepted €23million from Como. Strand Larsen Wolves paid £27m for 6 weeks ago. You can go back a bit further. Tonali Milan wanted £30m for their opening bid was tens of millions over Isak was really a £30m player. Now those 2 admittedly have worked out and now be profit, but just silly gambles, they haven’t a clue what they doing, they overpay cos they can, but the rules them bite them on arse. Botman was similar, Milan had agreed around £10m less.
Yep, he was very good last season . I'd say they got him for a decent price, but I'm not sure about the others at all.
Strand Larsen, mbeumo, cunha. Having anomaly seasons and going for stupid fees is so risky no guarentee they continue that form
No there isn't. Especially when they move clubs. Everything changes then, and it doesn't always work. I must say though, that Cunha in particular looked very good on Sunday.
Great video. I know Michelle quite well. Whenever we are conducting a funeral for a Sunderland fan I give Michelle a ring and if members of the group are available, they come along to the crematorium and line the Crem drive waving the massive Sunderland flags. It’s quite a sight and the families love it. Very emotional. I always say thank a thank you to every single one of them as I pass when I’m paging down the drive in front of the hearse. All voluntary and they give up their own time to do it
It why I'm impressed and happy with his we've gone about things. Take Patterson, for example. We identified two possible upgrades, which we couldn't complete for various reasons. The club took their time to identify the right option to bring in (Roefs) not panicking and bringing in just anyone. If they hadn't been able to get Roefs in, Patterson would have been number one, the club would have worked with him as number one until they got their new first choice. Yes, Roefs was signed quickly, but that was the speed of the deal once he was picked and the fact that Patterson was injured probably helped push it faster, but if it was going to take time they'd have worked with Patterson until it was done. Sensible. Not panicking and signing someone for over the odds or who's not suitable just because you "need" them.
2 for the first team and another couple on deadline day to develop similar to abdullahi and aleksic last year, still think we have another domestic loan that we will use, not a clue who on
