I do understand it but as said previously - the club is flying and supporters are buzzing

Whole lower bowl should’ve been open straight away IMO

Lower bowl is 38k or so isn’t it? I can absolutely understand the club not banking on that number.

They’d still have to out the away fans upstairs due to segregation and policing.

Something like that. Genuinely believe with the low pricing and current feeling around the club - we could sell those

Yeah Huddersfield have received the same allocation as West Ham did. 3086

Aye tenner a pop you’d think a good number go like.

I remember the Reidy days, I use to work in Wheatsheaf before games and we were getting asked in for reserve games as crowds were massive.

Ha’way Sunderland, do the right thing and open at least 2 stands <doh> PL club acting like a League Two outfit here.

It’s bloody silly mind. Came home from work tried to buy our tickets and non available. Been checking for couple of hours but looks like ticket office closed no new blocks being opened. Daft

It’s a shame really. Club flying in a lot of departments but certainly not the ticketing one.

The block by block ticketing approach is bizarre. I've had loads of complaints as RAWA rep over the road.

They usually end up selling the East stand and the South stand. I don't know why they can't put both stands on initially and then spread into the neighbouring blocks if there is demand for tickets.

I kind of can see why they wouldnt open the full stadium or ese they would end up with a reallocation job but surely open the west and south or east south

With rugby action coming to the Stadium of Light this week, the SAFC Store at the stadium will exclusively stock Women’s Rugby World Cup merchandise from Thursday 21st August.

Supporters can instead visit a brand-new pop-up store at STACK Seaburn, which will be open from Wednesday 20th August to Saturday 23rd August, 10am–6pm.

The pop-up will feature our latest summer launches, with remaining kit stock and junior sizes available, alongside hats, scarves, and a wide range of official accessories.

So whether you’re heading down for food and drink or looking to pick up your SAFC kit, STACK Seaburn is the place to be this weekend.

The SAFC Store at the Stadium of Light will resume normal trading hours from 9am on Saturday 23rd August.

Temporary Store Update: SAFC Retail at STACK Seaburn - Sunderland AFC

Excellent that they've put something in temporarily. Will get a fair bit of passing trade from.those down at the stack who wouldn't have usually went to the shop as well I'd imagine.

Good plan this imo, should follow it up with similar pop up shops in targeted areas, Durham city centre for a start

Is the Huddersfield digital ticket a separate one or like last few seasons added to your digital season ticket?
