It was also makes him look good and Newcastle look bad so it's saving his reputation in that regard.

Social media posts are meant to be short and to the point. He could have saved himself lots of words by just typing:
"I'm sorry I'm not at the awards tonight, but I'm a cnut".

We're gunna see people going after the owners instead of him and his agent. It's a well played card tbh. .

Promises or not. The player is contracted. We may have said we would allow him to leave if an acceptable offer is received and it hasn’t.

Liverpool tapped him up. His agent has thrown the rhetoric and then asked Isak to down tools to get Liverpool the deal at a price which was lower than our value.

A promise to sell if a big club came in needs to benefit us big Isak and as such a contact is in place and must be honoured.

As he hasn’t done that then **** him.

I can’t believe I am saying this but if this statement is true then we need to let him rot in the reserves.

If this is official they have to. They simply have to respond or we lose all credibility.

What promises would we make our striker? That we would let him go if Liverpool came for him?

If we got a bid of 110m that we would accept.

Absolute bollocks what would we promise him? Under contract for 3 years????
Club may be able to respond by fining him 2 weeks wages for the content of the post. Obviously, subject to his contract but there is usually something in the contract dealing with public messages.

I don’t think that’s the case. Most if not all fans of other clubs are saying Isak has gone about this is a terrible way. He’s looking like the bastard if football.

I can’t remember a player ever doing what Isak has done and ended up better off.

I have changed my mind on this I actually thought there was an amicable solution. But if this statement is true I say the club just pops him in the reserves and doesn’t pay him.

Exactly, respond to what?

It’s like Liverpool, respond by the end of the week to an offer that hasn’t been made.

He's opened the entire thing to more speculation. It doesn't change what he's done and how he's behaving.

Hey guys I was promised some extra money, so because I wasn't given it I'm going to pretend that's the real reason I'm desperate to join Liverpool and why I've ghosted all my responsibilities.

And then every week that he doesn’t play for us. There has to be a clause which says we don’t pay him if he doesn’t turn up for work.

He goes on UK SSP for **** sake. I’m so annoyed with the man. We have to stand our ground now and I can’t actually believe I am saying that.

Who will respond. Howe as who is above him atm. ?
Or will it just be a response by Newcastle united

The club will at best just release a respectful denial.. The fans get a bit arsy and think armageddon is coming.

Nowts changed he's just confirmed what everyone already knew.

The other players don't care about the club either.they'll just get on with it.

The other players don't care about the club or the fans either. When will that lesson be learned?

The assumption they're all feeling the same way as the fans is really delusional. They only signed here because it was the best option at the time... They don't care.

They probably kinda understand him wanting to go to Liverpool and have probably had run ins with management themselves... You know like a working environment.
