he won’t play if they don’t sell him he’ll be fuming and it weakens the mags
Out of the first 8 games I actually think they’re going to be the toughest gameForest is one of the teams i am more worried about us playing as they will run as much as we do, same with Palace. Id be over the moon to get a point at both of their places.
We are in a great position, there is no doubt about that and im trying not to get carried away, but with the discipline we play we will cause teams serious problems. Mayenda and Isidor have proved to themselves and us they can score in the premier league, Guiu will have to work hard to get into the team.
Its coming together rather well indeed
Nearly 29. A year left on his deal. A perfect Dumb Mags signing. It'll be their compensation when they sell Isak near to the deadline.I’ll piss myself if they pay 60 for Wissa.
Whatever happens we've proved a few things ...
... we can keep a clean sheet, we can score three goals with three different players and we can sit on a game then gradually work out how to win.
The third aspect is the most important because clean sheets are often down to chance and apparent goals sometimes cleared or ruled out. But the way we contained West Ham then slowly blocked off their moves was what I call 'proper football'. RLB seems to totally isolate himself and just studies the game instead of jumping around directing every pass and header.
It's fascinating to watch although it's not until the second 'viewing' that you start to see how he's making these subtle changes ...
... it all seems real rather than the usual chaos.
I just can’t see us losing 4 on bounce. I fancy us to get something from Forest just because of way they play I think it suits us.
We don’t know how good we are yet. Saturday was amazing but what we did see was that teams are going to squeeze us, and teams move ball so fast.
We will do the same though. It’s speculative right now.
All it takes is a couple of the signings to fly and we are suddenly not miles away from Forest and Palace.
We are right on the line of being well above relegation. If Mayenda and Wilson is a sign of things to come rather than a one off, we stay up.
I’m thinking Wolves when they signed players like Neto and Jota.
Nowt to say Talbi for example can’t emulate that. Diarra I think we’ve seen enough he is made for PL.
We just need 1 or 2 to fly and the whole side will.
Already fearless on Roefs, Reineldo, Alderete, Ballard, Hume, Xhaka and Diarra.
That’s a great place to be newly promoted.
Then Adingra has already done sporadic bits in the league, Sadiki looks like he will improve every half, and Mayenda and Wilson both on the board already.
We aren’t Ipswich, who looked tidy but short at times. We look ‘lower end of ok’ and a couple finding their feet from their will rocket that.
Confidence is there and growing for me. I have us staying up as it stands.
No it’s Mukiele coming backPrivate jet in from Paris later. Last time that happened Mukiele was on board. Could it be the mysterious other close signing?

Never in a million yearsHere’s a thought.
Could Cirkin be converted to that difficult to find left footed winger?
Great going forward, puts some great balls into area, scores the odd goal…
I’ve heard plenty suggest defending is his weakness, but he could be a winger that’s good at tracking back.
I personally think it’s plausible.
Our next 9 games are
2 Sat 8/23/25 Burnley
3 Sat 8/30/25 Brentford
4 Sat 9/13/25 Crystal Palace
5 Sat 9/20/25 Aston Villa
6 Sat 9/27/25 Forest
7 Sat 10/4/25 Man Utd
8 Sat 10/18/25 Wolves
9 Sat 10/25/25 Chelsea
10 Sat 11/1/25 Everton
Looking at them, Burnley and Brentford give us a hell of chance to build on the 3 points Saturday, would take 4 points but would love 6
I pointed out the keeper was at fault, and I still maintain that. That does not equate to an diminshment of Isidor and the goal though. Not necessarily the right thread but it involves players so hey ho!
On Wilson Isidor - I've seen a lot say its poor goalkeeping (and it was on the whole) but we've seen him do that exact finish twice (at least) now. Also knowing he was very often doing the same in Russia he must be doing something right? It can't always be poor keeping, I think its something to do with him hitting it so early and the keepers are not expecting it.
Because I’m not very bright, do you post this because you may know something or just because you can?You must log in or register to see images( might be one of the last times I do this as I am away from the 30th of August on holiday)
