Don't care what anyone says, we are weak in the final third. I still don't know where the goals are coming from in sufficient quantities to survive. Not enough quality depth in the forward wide areas and we are relying on kids to score 10 to 15 goals. It's a worry for me, in amongst the euphoria of most of the signings we've made. There's time of course to put this right, but I'd hate to think the club are happy with what we've got at the top end of the pitch as it stands. I trust them to fix it.

Due to our transfer activity some fans like yourself think they are playing Fifa i think in management mode
Please learn to read that is why I said if there is one we can afford

if you read my post properly, I said if one exists that we can afford

But it carries a lot more value. Pre season is about getting sharp, you whiny twat.

Mayenda is one of our prize assets. He doesn’t need to score in a ****ing practice game to earn our trust.
Still think we need better. Whinny twat? Haha

We've been relying on kids for a while and it's worked out ok.

I don't know about the new guy having not seen him play but Isidor is a quality finisher, he's rapid and makes good runs, now we have the midfield to make the most of him. Could well be suited to the prem. Mayenda has loads of potential and I'd be happy for him to start the season upfront.

I think we've got sufficient goals in that lot but time will tell.

That’s your opinion, the club back the two strikers that got 15 g/a’s in their first season in the championship. Both have profiles that suit premier league football. And we’ve signed a young striker from a top PL club on loan who made his debut at 17 for BARCELONA/

It’s fine to maybe feel that way but there’s zero evidence to say our strikers aren’t going to manage to score goals

Trouble is, and more importantly imo, there's zero evidence to say they are mate.

Me too marra, but realistically, we're going to need 50 plus goals to stay up. It's a concern imo. Young lads up there with a handful of goals to their name.
I don’t think your concerns are unfair. I would say who do we bring in? Can we really go out and get a striker that everyone says, yeah he will get 15 goals in the league, even 10. So hard to find a guarantee and if you can, would they come here? Could be afford them?

Im happy with our striker options but would like another winger who can be a bit of a game changer for us. Talbi is a big risk imo and will have to be taken out at times as we saw with jobe and Rigg

I think it’s perfectly fair to fear we don’t have enough goals in us as things stand. We don’t have a player who’s ever scored 10 goals in any league season, other than Isidor once in French non-league. And now we’re hoping somebody can in the hardest league in the world.

I’d feel a lot more comfortable if we had a Dovbyk instead of a Guiu for example. And Talbi on the right seems quite raw to me.

Now of course Guiu and Talbi might change my mind completely after one game each. But until they do, I reserve the right to be concerned.

That’s not saying I don’t have complete faith in our recruitment. It’s incredibly difficult to “guarantee” goals in the premier league and I think we’ve done almost as much as we possibly could to get them.

I reckon we'll get another attacker in soon. Going with the pattern of midfield and defence recruitment, I'd say 29-31 year old experienced CF to complement our young forwards

Isidor scored 13 and Mayenda scored 10 just last season?
