The club won't panic buy, if they bring in another CF it'll be because they think we are lacking in that area

 

Honestly got a feeling the profiles of our 3 upfront could do well in this league. Score a few and we are looking at having a striker already at the club who is worth over 20-25m

 

Me too but neither Mayenda, Isidor or our new number 9 Guiu deserve to be dropped into 4th place striker yet. The fact Giuiu has been given 9 suggeats the other 2 need to slog it out to be next in line. I dont see how bringing another striker in would make sense right now

 

You do see players just explode in PL.

Say Abdullahi comes off bench and scores a late winner, how many times we seen a player do that then get their legs and go on a run.

 

I’m the opposite tbh but I think that’s just because I can’t come to terms with how expensive footballers in general are. £40m for Ramsay, £42m for Outtara, £40m for Hato. Forest spending £37m on Ndoye, £40m on Hutchinson and £30m on McAtee. It’s just wild that’s what £100m gets you these days. Those 3 between them over the last few seasons have done nout worth talking about.

Outtara started about 20 games last season and half of those were because Evanilson was injured. Ramsay had 1 goal and just 6 overall goal contributions playing on the left side of the front 3. Hato has 2 seasons as a full back for a good team in a ****e league. It’s just mega money and Chelsea seem to rake it in just as well as they spend the ****er. £45m from Burnley for Broja and Ugochukwu.

 

I reckon thats Mayenda this season, once he gets 1 and his confidence up, he will grow and grow

 

One thing I don't think the club will be doing for any position is panic buying!

If that want a forward they will have a few in mind and be alert to any surprise availability of players (I mean a player they wouldnt expect to be available suddenly becomes possible) and if those things fall into place if not they will stick with what we have!

Its whether they see a forward as needed! All areas of the pitch they have signed a step up from what we had, only place there is doubt is that front 3! But they might be happy with what they see in the 3!

 

Obviously when we sign Dembele I will retract any previous made statements

 

I reckon if he scores against West Ham early on it would make his season! He is a confidence player and when he has recently scored he improves massively!

 

I’m not worried about Mayenda one bit mate, that’s why I slid down the ladder to Abdullahi .

Mayenda be fine once sharp.

 

After Mukiele is confirmed I'd genuinely be happy with just one more if its a top quality winger.

Crazy to even say that on the eve of the season that we're basically one player away from me being happy with the squad (not just the starting 11). Its been some effort by the club like.

Still think we'll get another 2 in after this lad like but I'm more comfortable with the striker situation and now the cb situation than others are (get the other side of the argument mind). Will be an exciting end to the window and I dont think we are going to find ourselves under pressure with any panic buys.

Id love him. Hate to say it but i want to see as little as pos of Roberts next season. He'd be the icing on the cake for me

I think if we sign another CF, either Isidor will be sold or Mayenda will be used wider

I actually think Mayenda's best position would be RM, just feel he's better running onto the ball or receiving it deeper than he is with his back to goal

I still think we need 2 forwards as I have concerns over Mundles injuries and concerns over Isidor and Roberts stepping up

 

Theres no way Isidor will get sold, and if he did id be pished off because no way does he deserve that.
Mayenda plays out wide with Blinkers, he just charges forward and has no ability to cross the ball into the box.

I want a natural winger though

 

Unproven in prem and done nowt pre season. Would like a wow striker if one exists that we could attract and afford

 

Done nowt in preseason? What does that matter?
