But I thought Barry was technically 100 days late as we should have paid in March or something

It was reported that Barry was the final straw that broke the camels back, and I've got no doubt that was the case.

Perhaps EFL were actually reluctant to impose sanctions when they technically could have and had accepted mitigation beforehand?
