A few assumptions there fella, unfortunately for you all incorrect. The original conversation spoke of relevance and pretty much all of today’s football is only possible because of what happened yesterday.
If you want to turn it into something else, be my guest.

Arthur Rowley is Leicester City's all time record goalscorer ... but nobody outside of die hard Leicester fans will have heard if him ... so please explain how he is relevant to, first, you ... and secondly to the modern game ...

Can't keep reshaping the conversation to suit your narrative fella ... and you are not the arbiter of the conversation, having joined it at a later stage ... and as Ern pointed out, largely in tune with your usual knee-jerk negativity to anything I post... just own it ... I probably wouldn't even post on here if not finding the inevitable responses of my fan club worth a chuckle ... :)

Tell us more about your trip to the Greek islands 45 years ago, you know the one you always mention when the subject of holidays come up. Not sure why because in your world it has no relevance at all to today’s holiday destinations ;)

Well before our time but was always fascinated by what he achieved. I think you try and put it in some context, what's the closest Haaland came to it?

Can’t compare the two, totally different times/eras. One played on mud pitches, caught the bus home and had steak pre game and the ball when wet was like a conker.

it always feels in my world that players make up their numbers with penalties these days, but I'm sure that's not true, it just feels like it. I think when Gerd Muller won the golden boot, I don't think any were from penalties, because someones name who escapes me use to take the pens, @Solid Air 2 will know, because I'm too lazy to google today.

Happy to recant memories and experiences... I've lived a life that's full ... I've travelled each and every highway ...

... and despite all your inane bleating ... nothing beats being there ... and doing it my way ...

As to people knowing how to get a bite ... I've only got to fart for you to come sniffing ;)
