Isak apparently told NUFC that won’t play for them again, even if transfer doesn’t go through. Sounds like things turning very sour therr
After watching the game on Sunday, I’d say that he’s a must now. Appreciate he won’t be match fit but we are desperately light up top. in fact, Isak should not be the only forward we buy……the same applies the the centre of defence and the even heart of our midfield (#6) I would settle now for Isak, Guehi (or similar) and one other (forward). Failing to sign these key positions or at least the first two, would turn an amazing window into an unfulfilled one and create squad weaknesses. I am, however, confident that the club will get it all done.
Isak is determined to join Liverpool this summer, according to the BBC. No mention of a formal transfer request though. All a bit unseemly tbh. No-one really looks good in this. I'd laugh if a deal is eventually struck and he then fails his medical.
The pictures on the players WhatsApp finished it off. I believe there was also a guy doing face paints and isak loves getting a spiderman
isn’t a Spider-Man when you jizz in your hand and then flick it into someone’s face? I’m not sure we should buy him if so
The longer Newcastle leave it, the shorter the time they have to buy replacements. Always think once a player has gone this far in wanting to leave, it is best to get rid asap. Get your replacement(s) in early and stop the disruption
The longer this goes on, the greater the danger we miss out on another striker and maybe Newcastle are hoping to push it to the limit in the hope that we give up on Isak, at least for now and go after someone else. They will have a tough time getting Isak to knuckle down however if that happens
We’ve got a history of waiting for players. It depends whether Isak follows through. I can’t make out if he’s put in a transfer request or not. Someone on here was sure he had but I read not elsewhere.
Reports now that he has moved out of his house, no idea where he is but having stated that he won’t play for Newcastle again, it seems he is ratcheting up the pressure on Newcastle.
He moved out of his house at the beginning of the summer, apparently. So nothing to read into there .... unless (huge speculation) he thought that the talks he had at the time would have cleared the way for him leaving. I don't think Liverpool came into it until it looked like he had made his mind up about not staying at Newcastle which (all speculation) was naive to think he had sole control of the situation.
Yeah, excluding him from training is one thing, excluding from gatherings is just BS. Probably more to it than we know though, Isak could have kicked off in training or something. It's definitely looking beyond repair now though
