Being reported Izak has now got a court order preventing Howe from coming within 500m of him. This suggests he can never play for Newcastle unless Howe is not in the stadium. Newcastle fans are blaming LFC for putting him up to it.

I expect us to come back for him in a couple of weeks. Probably offering £100m +£20m add-ons.

Frankly Newcastle would be mad to reject the offer now. I could see their view a few weeks ago, then they thought he'd drop it and play for them again, but now they're stuck with selling or having their most valuable player not being on the pitch (or in the stadium by the sounds of it) and sinking in value like the Titanic after the iceberg.

And I thought he was a nice quiet lad, Isak that is. The thing is, the escalation was so preventable.

Where?

That sounds utterly implausible unless howe was assaulting him in some way.

If we sign him and in a few years he has Real in his ear, we'll let him go. This drama won't be repeated. Not with us anyway.
Bingo.

Smart clubs sell and get a good price when this stuff happens. Diaz.

Newcastle have handled this atrociously. He was never going to go back to playing for them after he didn't tour with them. Instead of flat out rejecting our offer they should have left it open for negotiation.
Until they regularly get CL and start challenging for titles, they'll have to accept that their star players will attract interest from bigger clubs and said star players might be tempted. Best they can do is get more than they paid and reinvest it into a better all round squad.
Will take them time, but I'd guess the owners were expecting faster progress and still do.

I think on Newcastle's part it's lack of experience. This is their highest profile player since Shearer. Whatever the timeline looks like on this saga, they have always had the answer to ending it. It's not like offering a PL record transfer fee is insulting. Keep the negotiations going, wring out a few million £ more and it's done. And I'm not even someone who's desperate to get him.

As much as I'd like to have Isak playing for us... I wouldn't want to see this behaviour repeated at our club.

I think we are all in agreement.

However there is still a thing with all fans where thry will defend someone that nobody else would.

Suarez bit two players and racially abused a third while at anfield and could do no wrong yet at barca he never once felt thr need of a nibble.

He is a low life pond scum type but we as in WE all defended it at the time

Isak is looking an utter turd

Yeah, I'm not liking at all how this is being handled.

That's not our choice.

That's his and newcastle choice.

We went and approached them and go told to f off.

This we know.

We bought Ekitike

The thing explodes and we went back and bid and got told to do one. We have not gone back.

Everything else about our actions is speculation. Imminent bids etc.

What we also see from afar is the continued deteriorating relationship between the player and club. Theres alot of wild speculation as well.

What we know is what howe has told us.

He had called the players behaviour poor and made him train alone and he was seen in Spain.

Everything else is speculation.

agreed about from the statement attributed to him about "never playing for them again"* which he hasn't denied

*or words close to that as i cba to dig out the actual "quote"

In so far as I am aware he has not actually called up a reporter and gone on the record about anything.

he's gone to Spain. We know that

We know he came back when told and reported when told and trained when told alone.

After thet really howe is the one who's done the talking and we only have second or third of made up accounts of the interactions.

Denial of commentary or non denial is not really required from anyone's side.

if it wasn't his view / statement he would have denied it .

Howe has said it's "clear" that he "can't involve" Isak at Newcastle as things stand. (Picked up on Google search presumably the quotes are actually quotes). I'm wondering if Howe and the owners have two very different takes on the situation with Howe wanting him to leave now and the owners thinking they will look weak if they let that happen.

Why?

It can only bring more **** on him.

Now I might agree totally that it might well be his agent and him spreading stuff and he might well be happy with it but we cant assume.it either.

Players.cannot win one way or the other so its very rare they open their mouths as inevitably they get piled on when they do.
