It’s me mate. Loads of problems getting back, so new name - thankfully CroydonCaptainJack and Beth brought me back from the dark side.

Nice one, did wonder if you'd got lost walking around Sandbanks or something! How's the studio? Made anything interesting? Great to see you back, always liked your music taste...been to see anyone decent recently?

Haha .. always plenty of good walks around the Jurassic Coast. Did manage a pre-Glasto Wunderhorse gig; enjoyed an ‘intimate’ Snapped Ankles gig; Hot 8 Brass Band; Heartworms & Fat Freddy’s Drop that I can think of as well as the Supreme Festival earlier this year. A few gigs ahead to look forward to.
Just in the middle of a solo exhibition due to finish and a busy year so far (including a Studio move which proved rather stressful). All good stuff though.
Have been keeping track of your gigs and recommendations on here even if I couldn’t participate.

Looks like your boy is doing great, band still going strong? New stuff ahead too?

Intimate Snapped Ankles - that would be a great gig - saw them in a tent a few years ago, very hot and sweaty

Heartworms were great when we saw them - JoJo has a great voice for someone so small

Hot 8 are coming back next year, so keep an eye out.

Is your artwork online? Be good to see some of your exhibition, as I don't think I'll be making it down there any time soon!

The Skins are still going strong - bit of a change in line-up, they sacked the guitarist, bass player moved to lead guitar and they've bought in the bassist from jnrs first band who is brilliant. Bit of a heavier sound now, but with a touch of funk in it too. New material has a Fontaines kinda sound. They've been on a bit of a break as one of them has been really ill (lost 20kg, think he has IBS or Crohns) but he's responding well to treatment so hopefully be ready to record some new stuff soon.

Good to see you back pal :emoticon-0148-yes:

Yeh, would have liked to have seen her performing the new album (it sounds really good). She has come back, from having a baby, with a real strong sound. Her live studio session on BBC sounded really good. Glad you enjoyed her.
