I get what you mean but the agent hasn’t been taken out of context he’s genuinely said all of these things, there is nothing to take out of context…

I retracted it as I felt like I’d rather wait for someone to post what is actually happening which I was told by someone who has a mate working for the club. (That his minutes are being managed and the club and Enzo are not happy with his agent)

So in regards to you saying people are jumping on it and saying different things this isn’t true. Not many people have jumped on it and everyone has heard a very similar story as the agent has been mouthing off to fans saying the same thing

On the ELF stuff, I’ve seen the messages from the agent to three separate fans. The agent was clearly trying to start the rumour(s). I don’t think any of the fans he was messaging can be blamed for that. Having an agent of a player saying what he was, is of interest and can’t be taken out of context when it’s direct quotes.

The guy is an unprofessional bellend and I hope ELF drops him over this frankly.

He’s a proper lunatic like, the screenshot I posted is barely even a tip of the iceberg. He’s very unprofessional. Seems like both the club and Enzo aren’t happy with his agent though so

 

Agree wholeheartedly, thing I find well strange mind, why would our supporters message an agent at all? Maybe it’s my age or my lack of social media savvy, but ffs surely you’re not so desperate for recognition or relevance that you trawl around for snippets of anything. Not doubting that it’s true btw but ffs leave the lad alone, and that includes his representatives.

 

Serious question, how do u know the club and the player aren’t happy?

 

Summary of what was said basically was - Agent said Enzo wasn’t happy that he isn’t starting against West Ham and is with the “subs” that are playing at the SOL and starting today. That he might move if it isn’t resolved etc

Then I was told after the fact that this isn’t the case, Enzo’s mins are being managed as they don’t want him to potentially get injured after not long ago having a bad one. So the agent was just making a load of **** up

 

I did it for the craic at first, after that Facebook story was going around I didn’t even want a reply, it’s instagram so it goes through as a message request usually people don’t even read their requests. He accepted my request and replied

 

aye it's been well blown out of proportion all this elf stuff, and his agent has tried to play a game , Elf is fine and will play plenty minutes in a sunderland shirt this season

 

I’ve mentioned this in my original post, I was told by someone who I know for a fact has a mate working for the club. I sent him the screenshots of the agent and he done some digging and found out what the craic is.

 

I don’t even have instagram but I’d imagine once one fan has done it, others find it so hard to believe that they’ve tried themselves to verify if the rumours are bollocks. The agent has then continuously replied to the fans and made it “open season” to contact him.

The agent himself is the one to blame for any rumours getting out. Like I say he’s messaged at least three fans the same stuff. He wanted rumours of ELF being unhappy to be public.

 

I’ve not meant to get anyone riled up btw, I’ve posted what happened on here to try and let yous know that Enzo isn’t wanting away as some are trying to suggest

Some thoughts from me on Enzo, not relevant to agent or rumours though.

I had reservations about him coming in on loan. Seemed like I was in a minority of 1. I wasnt sure about the impact on the squad in terms of unity (I was clearly wrong) and I had reservations about how much impact he would have as a player (I think it remains a valid question).

I can see his talent. Everyone can I am sure. My question mark is does it impact the team enough. Does he find enough ways to impact games? At times in the championship he was quality and made players like Ayling look daft. At others he was bullied easily and the game passed him by. I appreciate he was played out of position but Regis didnt have to in all games once Watson was back, and I do wonder whether he has enough about him to play in the middle, and whether Regis worries about it too. So far in pre season, the bits I have seen at least, he hasnt shone. Again flashes here and there, but nothing that would give me confidence he is going to be a huge influence on a premier league game. Time will of course tell on that. To me Xhaka is levels above him and Diarra is too. Sadiki has surprised me massively and while I think he has some rawness in possession his overall contribution to the game is bigger than Le Fee's. Right now he is a sub for me.

I have said in the past his moves bug me a bit. His last 2 havent worked out for him. For whatever reason. I hope he is here for years and finds a way to play first team football. I am sure he will be frustrated if he is one of these so called finishers (absolutely hate that term). I do worry a bit more for him when Rigg is fit. In my opinion Rigg will be ahead of him in the pecking order by the end of this season at the latest.

All just an opinion. Probably still in the minority of 1. Probably have this brought up time and again over the season as proof I am clueless. Wouldnt mind that at all tbh. And it would prove what we alreadg know

 

No, I'm totally agreeing with you that the agent said something stupid.

It's all the other things that are posted as facts when it's pretty much unsubstantiated gossip.

Not being critical but 'I was told by someone who has a mate working for the club' isn't too reliable and, in any case, no different to what's already been mentioned.

As I say, all of this gossip is fine until it creates a 'Patterson' situation and 'fictional facts' start appearing which are then quoted ...

... perhaps this is just how things are now but, as I say, it's becoming more like Twitter every day.

Agree marra, we don't need fans messaging agents, players or safc staff... but you did ask cam to share his chat even though he had said "I just don’t feel comfortable posting it publically on a forum"
