    I'm with you mate. Diakite linked to bournemouth shouldn't really make any difference but it does mentally.

    Just got to hope and trust we get similar breaking news soon.

    Just think, half an hour ago Bournemouth fans were thinking they were desperate for a centre back now that theyre selling Zubarnyi and already sold Huijsen, and then bang out of nowhere theyre in advanced talks.

    it will be us next.

    Gutted about Diakite. Think he's superb.

    I do wonder if we'll get one in before West Ham. Ideally I would want one to play one of the games this weekend but that's very unlikely now.

    There is a perfectly plausible scenario where we want Lucumi and Bade. And Bade is injured so no rush. And Lucumi is waiting for Bologna to sign his replacement.

    But there's also a plausible scenario where its Japhet Tanganga coming in on 30th August :D

    The way I see it we’re linked with just about everybody, there’s no way we could buy them all, so just chill the centre half’s will come, and they’re probably not even named on here or by a journalist yet imho

    Bournemouth have the advantage of getting a lot of money for one of their CBs they’ve sold. It happens.
