Yes, you are thick. Get TwoWrights to put you in the picture. Silly twat.
Think that's really underselling greaves. If you look at the 2000s and 2010s, lots of the top teams in the Premier League had a typical partnership of a really aggressive centre-half and a really composed one who was better on the ball. Think Vidić-Ferdinand or Terry-Carvalho. Even now you have Konaté-van Dijk and Gabriel-Saliba.
For me, Greaves is more like Vidić/Terry/Konaté/Gabriel. A no-nonsense defender who steps up to win the ball and makes impressive slide tackles. Hughes is more like Ferdinand/Carvalho/van Dijk/Saliba in that he’s more composed on and off the ball and has great passing range.
Greaves and Hughes would’ve made some pairing.

Isn’t it the close season for fishing at the minute?

...constantly.
Isn't it time for the meds? Alzheimer's nurse must be running late tonight.
You seem to be under the misapprehension that you are clever and that I give a **** what silly twats like you think or say.
Still got chips on both shoulders about Icali?
The way things are looking, bearing in mind the restrictions we are under, this window is certainly looking one of our better ones.
Reminds me of visiting Glasgow for the first time.
KFC in Glasgow to be specific.
The woman behind the counter wanted me to pick a side and I asked her to list them.
Could literally not understand a word she said after that, so I panicked and said "the first on"
Bloody hate corn cob.....
But yeah, Sergej gives a solid impression
And Gelhardt would be more than welcome back![]()
Hughes absolutely did that sort of thing. There is a reason Jones was dropped for the run inNever known a player who barely plays be so scrutinised as Vaughan is. He seems to really bother people for some reason.
Hughes is obviously talented and has huge potential but I think some of the talk about him right now is a bit over the top. He has loads of desirable raw skills but his defensive outcomes aren't actually that good. There were games last season where Macca or Jones were blocking everything and saving our clean sheet, I don't think Hughes did that sort of thing as much. I think he's still yet to become that really solid defender, but as someone else said that will probably come in time.
And finally on the strikers. I don't get how we can have McBurnie, Frigan, Joseph and Destan all at the club. Maybe if we played a front two regularly but then Gelhardt obviously makes that unlikely. I agree about getting rid of Palmer if someone wants him but I still think that leaves a lot of attacking players kicking their heels if we get everyone we want.

Just find that take shocking. Hughes’ defensive outcomes weren’t that good? And Jones’ were? The only really good game Jones had last season was Blackburn away. I could name 10 for HughesYeah, Egan steadied Hughes alongside.
Nothing to do with Hughes playing on the left of central defence. Jones wouldn't play there anyway. So it was never an either or, just we're gonna need to flip Hughes for a profit next summer, so we're totally building a squad around him.
We absolutely should platform him though. He’s our best ball playing centre back, allowing that to be showcased regularly will push him to that £20m mark.Yeah, Egan steadied Hughes alongside.

He's anticipated to be our showcase player this season.
Not saying Hughes isn't technically a better player, and certainly has a higher ceiling but playing alongside a youngster didn't get the best out of Jones.Just find that take shocking. Really struggling to recall these consistent **** ups. Bar Norwich when the game was over anyway. I remember Jones having plenty thoughNot saying Hughes isn't technically a better player, and certainly has a higher ceiling but playing alongside a youngster didn't get the best out of Jones.
Especially when Hughes did and still have at least one **** up in him every game (and still has.).
