West Ham won’t be pleased with Sunderland as the first game in my opinion.

It’s away from home, long journey and a big home crowd of their heads on adrenaline, hope and beer <cheers>
I've a couple of mates who are Hammers through and through....and the reaction to their first match of the season was that it couldn't really have been any worse! They're extremely apprehensive.

West Ham are the ones who will be ****ting it mate.....their fans are really apprehensive! The SOL will be jumping!
The issue I have with the Prem is there will be more away fans in that roof void. I fear that is all we will hear this season unless we are all singing and shouting.

I was often critical of the atmosphere at our place last season.....I mentioned it on here more than once. However,I'm expecting a real uplift this season...I don't expect to be outshouted!

Too many gaps is what kills the atmosphere in my opinion, that shouldn’t be a problem this season …

… I just hope, at least in the first few games, people don’t start drifting away if we’re losing.

Strange how reluctant some people are, to ‘beat the traffic’ if it’s a cracking game against Liverpool <laugh>

Well, this ownership and management have, and are still, delivering what we've been craving for years. They've put us back where we belong. If we,as a fan base, don't reward that with as much support as we can muster for the whole 90+ minutes, and make the SOL once again a fortress that visiting teams will fear, then we don't deserve to be the club we all think we are.
