I once did a book with a friend of mine who is a photographer, his pictures my words. I called it
“ Sight and sound “ he produces the sight, I make the sound. I will know I’ve made it when I find a copy in a charity shop…. It’s the hope that gets you in the end !!!!!

My best work up to date was a poem/story about a fictional detective called “ Hitchcock,” it all came about after my friend showed my a photo he’d took of “ Hitchcock’s “ vegetarian restaurant in town. I’ve got in canvas on my wall, as soon as I saw it the story just started to write itself in my head. I popping into the restaurant and the owner was really keen for me to bring a copy of both the picture and poem. I’m afraid I bottled out and have never been back since. A few months later I read it out to an audience at a poetry gathering, so many asked if I would write follow up stories of Hitchcock the detective as they were very keen to read more. Must be a few year ago now but I’ve not wrote a word, in certain circumstances I’m not very confident but when it comes to women, never had a problem… go figure!!!

Hull City have completed the signing of Trabzonspor forward Enis Destan on a permanent deal after he secured his exit from the Turkish Super Lig outfit.
Destan has joined the club on a free transfer and has signed a three-year contract at the MKM Stadium, with City understood to have agreed on a 50 per cent sell-on clause in the deal while there is the option of a further 12 months.

I watched The 1904 Club podcast and Cooper said Puerta isn’t a Hull City player and won’t be a Hull City player. He also said he’s still a Leverkusen player.

So what happened to his contract, what happens with the transfer fee owed to Leverkusen and who has been paying his wages for July?

Leverkusen will still have his registration I suppose, because we can’t register him. He will still be an employee of Hull City.

I think it’s a bit like the club has always been called Hull City Tigers limited. The truth but not the truth.

This is still baffling me. We're paying his wages, so we must own him. It must just be the registration, as the EFL surely ratified the transfer in April when the clause was activated?

I get the feeling Baz has done his usual, make a statement and repeat it so much it's true in his head and he's in too deep.

Annoyingly I think Puerta would be a great fit in this midfield, he's combative and always looks to progress the ball. I wonder if by some miracle the appeal gets the restriction quashed/suspended, whether we'll end up keeping him?

I think the intention was to sell him even before all of this mess, but no idea what's going on now.

My understanding is similar to others: we own him but can't register him.

But if Baz is correct and we don't actually own him, there must be a case for Leverkusen suing us for breach of the transfer obligation we made with them. It's not their fault we have had restrictions imposed (it's our negligence) and we had a deal which was activated in the spring.

I have not heard of this prospect mentioned anywhere, so I think that in itself backs up that they're not impacted as we own him regardless (back to my first sentence).

Great. I look forward to hearing about McBurnie signed later today because it’s almost a certainty.

Who said it was? It's just as likely to happen as to not happen, which was my entire point about your comment being pointless.
