Now the last club to get through hump was Southampton over vvd and very coincidentally theory record of finding bargains dried up.

Now a lot of things can feed into thst including changed in the owners and directors but looking like a very unreasonable.club can also dry up the agents willingness to deal with you.

Newcastle.currently are one club in a crowd. Saudi support seems to be low interest compared to what it could be.

If you want good players but are not top of the chain and look hard to deal with players wont go.

Look at spurs for levy. They pay good wages but the type of player coming is a step below what they would want.

We did a good deal for diaz on the other hand so have a half reasonable reputation as a club you can do a deal with

You may be spot on. You may not. I’ll refrain from making too many assumptions at this point.

I do wonder what has driven this - have Newcastle failed to uphold agreements to him or is he just seeing bigger opportunities elsewhere?

Maybe. It's all speculation. You see injured players go home all the time during rehabs.

Going to a former team to show you are able to train doesn't really fit the profile for me, that's all.

He’s training at his old club not with.

All the Newcastle staff at on tour and he was left behind as had an injury so he’s gone off to do some personalised training. Doesn’t really make much difference where he’s doing it, not like he’s at Anfield doing laps.

I agree on the cb. I want konate gone for a decent fee and move on. They alm have to be committed.

We will need 2 cbs amd keep gomez for absolute emergencies and 2 cup games or so.

My ideal August has 2 cbs in and a series of sales. Chiesa, Konate, doak, morton, tsimikas, bajcetic, Elliott all on the list.

The its a luxury nunez out and isak in scenario.

I see 140mil to come in there before we talk about 50 for nunez and 120 for isak.

More than enough for 2 good cbs.

Yes, some super aggressive responses from Newcastle fans about Isak. He is a footballer not the new Messiah. He is doing what footballers do, just like Trent and Diaz. I really don’t know why the Geordies are getting so upset, yes he is a decent footballer but he wants to leave

It is hurting them.so its only natural I suppose.

Not only that but they got told they are a smaller club when the story first broke and they should take it.

I suppose we do the same when konate and trent and diaz all want to go but we get on with it.

We've got imo better in so far and hopefully will do the same again with konate.

We were meant to (or Rumoured to) offer 100 mil.

After that maybe the next step is the player making it very clear he isn't signing anything and the senior players and manager can't change his mind. A formal transfer request perhaps.

It's a case here of figuring the real position and getting the best you can.

It was pretty clear with diaz despite the effort we made he wanted more money and we got our best deal out of bayern.

It's now up to Newcastle what they do as some of this is likely to be self harm unless they get it sorted.

Their worst outcome is selling on deadline day. At least doing a good deal now give them a little time to spend it.

Their best outcome is forcing him to stay and play but the fans are likely to make that rough.

Some hack has said konate still talking to us about new contrwct but also talks with psg for this summer.

The usual nothing from real stuff.

As I said before make it ****ing clear to the guy that if he wont sign and is set to run down his deal then he is benched 100% and he can go swing for his world.cup chances.

Real can go do one imo.
