hulls got amazing access to stunning countryside a short drive away
its a short drive to decent sea side places

a stunning marina
incredible old town
some amazing museums

amazing cycling routes here there and everywhere

it now has an amazing tech centre for it

and the worst parts of hull are much much much nicer than the worst parts of london, birmingham, manchester, liverpool and so on and so on
Talking of the 'worst parts of London',how are they getting along with the recently opened camping village in Park Lane?

They might choose to live from the people in it, it may be the best and most wonderful place but the people there might not be.

Or vice versa. The city might not be OK but the likes of TwoWrights are OK.
I always think Hull people are more open and accepting of outsiders than other cities. Which is funny as Hull people tend to be insular and parochial for city dwellers and don’t look far beyond Hull.

So they choose not to live in the most wonderful place there is but choose to live just outside.
Yep. As the border stops right where Hull stops they live further away. In 90 percent of other UK cities the border goes for miles into uninhabited fields therefore would that be classed as not living in say Sheffield centre if you live in a village outside the urban central yet for some reason a leafy village classed as Sheffield.

Baz’s McBurnie update on the podcast feels a bit negative.

Suggests City are the biggest financial package available to him but there’s at least 4 other clubs in for him and the club aren’t so sure he’ll come.

“there are some parts of Birmingham where people get out of the bath, there’s other parts of Birmingham where they don’t get out for a ****!”

I am quite keen on Birmingham. There’s obviously places that you would avoid but in the whole it’s a great city. I like hiring a boat and doing the canals, it’s like an urban version of the Norfolk broads, but better imo. More to see and do.
