The Isak thing really highlights just how well run we are as a club. Look at how we treated Clarke / Jobe when they wanted away. The difference is night and day, and that kind of thing can really impact any prospective new players' decision when they're thinking about joining. If you were an ambitious player thinking about joining the Mags, watching them drag their feet and make it as difficult as possible for Isak to get his dream move, would you be thinking "aye this is where I want to be"? I wouldn't!
Me dads just had David Bruce in his taxi He was trying to get signings out of him but he reckons ‘I only tell my wife because I can trust her’ club obviously very serious on the leaks he did say when my dad said how many do we expect to sign ‘3 to 5 and a couple loans’ which of course lines up with what we were hoping for all very positive
I said Rigg would be shy ... and he was, great to see. It demonstrates what people on here have been saying, standards all round the club will click up another notch.
Malaga Mackem was saying he was really surprised when he bumped into Xhaka in Zurich ... ... much taller than he thought. I wish I could be a fly on the wall of the dressing room if someone gives the ball away cheap ... ... although he'd probably swat it and grind it into the floor
Ballard looked buzzing, think he might be an Arsenal fan so probably cheered Xhaka on from his house.
There's a huge feel good factor around the club now, and that was the case even before Xhaka came in. The promotion has changed our mindset as a club. I ****ing love it.
