I will be watching the Spurs game on a giant HD screen. I saw the Barca v Rael game last night the usual amazing stuff from Barca. The ball appears glued to their players feet and the reaction one touch play is sublime. The best footballing side since the Dutch team of the Cruyff era. I will however be much more excited watching the Spurs play in just over an hours time. COYS
According to the original Portuguese Chelsea manager with a chip on his shoulder (that needs to be wrapped around his head), Barca were "lucky" to win El Classico. Given the not inconsiderable fact real were 1-0 up and lost 3-1, were they really "lucky" on three separate occasions? Meanwhile, Villas-Boas really has gone loopy, hasn't her? And I was expecting it to happen by mid-February...

So who do we want to win tonight, or rather who do we want to lose least? My heart says Chelsea, to keep the league open but my head says Chelsea dropping points will be more relevant to us come the end of the season. There's no Luiz today as he's suspended with Lampard and Torres on the bench Chelsea might acutally win!
Evening fellow Yids. Have a question- I was chatting to one of the brethren the other day and he was wearing a shirt that had "Yid Army" on the back and "the Cockerel Bar" on the front. Said that the bar was closed after a rather nasty incident involving the Spammers. Does anyone remember the bar and or that incident he was talking about? BTW city win for me, don't need the chavs making up any more points.
Chelsea losing would mean they won't be catching up with us, plus that smirk that's recently appeared on Villash-Boash's face because of a couple of fortunate results will be gone.
Chelsea parking the bus in the 1st half...at home. Spawn of Mourinho. Its worked though, and now City look out of ideas how to break them down, interesting.
So no quotes at all, it's just pure speculation re Kaka. I can't think for the life of me why we would want him, as our need is for a striker and then, possibly, a CB.
Signing Kaka even on loan would be a huge coup but I can't see how he'd fit in, I mean VDV left because he and Kaka played the same position. He definitely needs a move to revitalise his career but I don't think the premier League would suit him.
The article says Harry wants cover for VdV?...I expect he does, but Kaka, cover??? who is this idiot? Why would we swap a virtually irreplaceble left mid/winger in Bale for him aswell. Didn't realise he was 29 either, 30 in April, suffering with injury....Brazils version of Gerrard!, great player, but has seen better days that you won't be seeing again.
Fulham have just crashed out of the Europa League. 2-0 up at half-time and needing any kind of win to progress, but they conceded once fairly early on and then a second with the last kick of the game. Unbelievable. Odensa didn't even benefit from the result, as they were out before the game began. Poor old Martin Jol.
