If you were watching City in the 1980s you saw some pretty dire stuff for most of the decade


Something Brady not having a woman in his life will be an expert in. Another thing Brady and Vern have in common.

Bit harsh - the 80's saw us get 2 promotions in 3 years, plus a top 6 finish in the old Div. 2 (I think in the year before the play-offs started). By the end of the 80's it was all going pear shaped, though.

It was 85/86. We finished 6th on 64 points. Norwich were champions on 84, followed by Charlton and Wimbledon who were also promoted to the old Div. 1

He wasn’t left footed he was right. Both Bowen and Grosicki played on opposite wings to the foot they were and cut in. Did you have your glasses on the wrong way round when watching them, you’ve got both players dominant foot wrong

The early 80s saw us go into the bottom tier for the first time. And to make it worse it was at a time when the rugby clubs were doing well and winning trophies left, right and centre. Were you in the crowd of just over 2,000 for the final game of the season? I was along with a few others off here.
