Decent player tho
we’ve all done it, you grow wiser as you get older.
sick of people whining about morality over ****ing footballing ability for a side with a transfer embargo and half a squad, ****ing soft.
Who was that who played for manure that did something abhorrent and got his chance in Italy...?this is what I mean, holier than though attitudes are easy when you’re anon on a forum and never once been in the spotlight. Everyone has done things they aren’t proud of some worse than others but redemption should be available to all ffs.
You can have that opinion
But if morals change due to circumstance
Theyre not morals

Idolise him in MarseilleGreenwood? He went to Getafe on loan after the incident then went to Marseille.
Mistakes get made especially when young and thrust into a position based on ego and power. I for one have no clue what it’s like to have infinite cash and play for Man United at 18 and aren’t prepared to judge someone like I’m the pope who has, bad mistake, if he learns a lesson served the punishment and can play ball then he’s welcome.
Seeing what we've seen tonight... bad apples aren't needed.. if thats the case that is...On the Williams signing, it is one we should stay clear of. The car story is the least of our worries.
He is a young man, who I do feel sorry for, but he has issue, troubles, not dissimilar to Connoly and he isn't even close to getting over them. I see him most weeks, given where I live, work and socialise and I suggest the help he is getting (still paid for by Utd tbf), hasn't solved it.
I appreciate we are shopping at the bottom of the barrel and he will be cheap as clearly noone else has touched him. But, I hoped we had learnt our lessons from Connoly.
This isn't some morality point, not for me to judge and I believe in second chances. But, given our situation I am not sure given chances to someone who openly still has significant issues is the solution.
Based on. very good performance tonight and the 5 wins. Other than a striker, knowing who we have to come back, would you be inclined to say close the wallet... let the youngsters speak.
I think midfield is too lacking for that. Zero depth behind the starters tonight bar McCarthy and that's a hell of a lot of pressure on him.
Lundstram and one other required (or Puerta and Laalaoui if we can register them) I'd say?
Well they would there of all places...Idolise him in Marseille
