Funny this. To be honest, i'd be in the exact same boat as this poster if KLD owned other clubs and was buying players from rivals to help them fund transfers for our targets. PIF have done a poor job of organising a proper footballing structure at the club (Howes nephew is a big part of their transfer team), constantly have them close to the PSR line as they are poor sellers and are pretty prolific at lying to their fans.

Howe's nephew? Really? Who is he then, just some random bloke, or does he have a background? Sounds really dodgy that.
 
i think too much has gone into a xhaka deal for it to fall away now (although we have already seen how far a deal can go and still be dropped)...the differences we see in 'expected transfers' from the media just show how little they know for definite and i am also one who distrusts most of what they post, i am one of the older ones in the forum and come from a time when anything that was printed had to be extremely accurate (and quite often proven) before it went to print while younger members have basically been brought up with social media and 'instant answers', although they do tend to be much more investigative than us old ones and rarely believe the first post they see...personally, i like them to post what they find as it saves me having to do the work. ;)

no idea why but these transfer threads seem to stir a lot up yet the only truth is when the scarf pic arrives, all else should be accepted for what it is (95% speculation, guess work and agent touting) there is really no reason to be 'better' or be the first to post genuine info, we all end up with the same news.

as for players, i am sticking with my original thoughts, a couple of no messing CB's and a good CDM with at least 8 eyes for his 360 vision...hoping for quick news so they have a couple of games + practices afore the season starts.

If the two clubs were really too far apart his club would say so, why wouldn't they?

Therefore the clubs aren't too far apart ...

... logically, that's the only possible conclusion.
