One of the performers who lived it large throughout his career and didn’t give a damn Was lucky enough to see him a few times RIP Oz and thanks a million A sad loss and a great great showman
Truly sad at this news, RIP Ozzy you lived a full life according to your own will, thoughts are with your family and friends, please log in to view this image
Ozzy was one of those great characters and showmen that I respect and admired without actually enjoying his music. I was not into Black Sabbath or his solo stuff. I did like ‘Crazy Train’ however. I only took a slight interest in Sabbath because of Bev Bevan - who used to play drums for ELO which is one of my favourite bands. Respect to him though - he was a great showman and entertainer. RIP Ozzy.
Bev Bevans drum sound is unique and the earlier ELO albums are still wonderful today Jeff Lynne is also unwell and has cancelled concerts that won’t be rescheduled so I hope there’s not more bad news on the way
Was the hey day of my more youthful years unique in many ways and a true showman who knew how to be one with the audience . will remember him as one of the greatest .. .... ....... R I P Ozzy .... ....
My favourite Black Sabbath track, I vividly remember hearing it for the first time in a pub and instantly asking who is this. Brilliant. Black Sabbath - Symptom Of the Universe HD
Ah ok. Initially that fact wasn't mentioned when I saw an update. It was being reported he was suffering from a systemic infection which sounded a bit dodgy
The last Ozzy Osbourne album in 2022 has the brilliant Patient #9 track with Jeff Beck on lead guitar. It's beyond fantastic That's a great song among many of theirs For Ozzy as a solo artist, and aside from classics such as Mr Crowley, Crazy Train, Shot In The Dark, Perry Mason etc etc, listen to Patient Number 9 featuring Jeff Beck (also RIP) from 2022. Absolutely superb.
