Those Rovers fans, what are they like!

I'm not sure what you mean by stadium of copright. If its what I think it is you are actually incorrect. The Estadio da Luz (named after the area in Lisbon, isn't even the actual name). Besides that stadium was built 6 years later. Before you say, the original stadium wasn't called the stadium of light either. The Estadio da Luz is also called 'A Catedral' or 'the Cathedral' since you're clearly interested. Since you also like translating stadiums why don't you translate Olympic Stadiums, loads of teams play in various versions of those, or how about Stadio delle Alpi, Estadio Santiago Bernabeu.

Or don't you only translate into English when it suits you?

I suppose that one of the reasons they have changed their ground's name to The Sportsdirect Arena is that they didn't want a name clash with the more famous St James's Park at Exeter City...

It must be really galling for barcodes these days, happy to see Bruce as our manager one minute, losing games and making us a relegation haunted team, only to be gutted to see MoN appointed now and a resurgence on Wearside.

The whole feel of the club has altered totally and any minority decent, I honestly didn't hear any boos either, was overwhelmingly wiped out by that incredible welcome for Mon before kick off and the amazing last 10 mins, which was like the Reidy years. The noise and roar which greeted the equalizer was responsible for the winner imo. It's been a long time since I saw an opposition team have the very life sucked out of them by the crowd.

No amount of mag scum comments can effect that feeling, nor can it dampen my enthusiasm or exuberance about our new manager.

The gap is down to 12 points now. There's 23 games remaining.

We're coming to get ya barcodes. Lol

Oh you can do rhyming words and everything now. Clever boy.

Still, it doesn't beat having your stadium called the sports direct stadium does it and I didn't invent that, use rhyme or pun, or change it in any way shape or form.

That completely ****e and embarrassing name is the one wor Agent Ashley bestowed on you on our behalf. Lol

He will give us more than that to worry about. And let's be honest, there aren't many people adopting the new name. It's caused outcry at first, but at the end of the day, there are more important things in life and in football.

I can assure you that we are all calling it the sports direct stadium chum. Lol

Legally, all tv stations and newspapers will have to call it by its correct name in discussions, or reporting, as the sponsors could take legal actions to protect their investments.

That said, like when a pub changes name, the locals will retain kid original name. You lot can do likewise but don't expect up to follow suit. :D

Yeah, mackems. Need I say more. So far there is only the bbc using it in the media from what I've seen. But like I said, if that's all he gives us to worry about this season then I would be a happy man. But January will prob make the stadium name fade in to insignificance

Not here for people to be dicks so if you've got some smart arse comment then I'm just gonna hit the ignore button. Looking for someone sane to explain to me this "resurgence" on Wearside. From where I can see, you fluked a win over the worst team in the league (yes you played better, but would surely have lost if the ref go tthe big decisions right) and the same old goalscoring problems were evident. Also, O'Neill adopted the 4-4-1-1 tactic that Bruce would have been slated for if he had done it. I know theres a feelgood factor or whatever but its hardly the time to be getting too cocksure.

MR showing that charming wit again. Would I be right to assume that you will be expecting maximum points from the games you have ahead against Arsenal, Spurs and Man City? Funny that, we've played all of the top 5 and you've played 2 of them. And we're still 12 points ahead. Wigan + Wolves + Fulham + Blackburn = 4 points <doh> <doh> <doh>

If you have trouble remembering the name, just say the stadium supported by child labour, made to work like slaves for their parent company Sports Direct. <ok>
