    PIF are an investment group (clue is in the title). They will eventually want their money back from the mags. They won’t get that buy constantly blowing money on transfers. They just want as many eyes on their Saudi products and they’ll get that with advertisement and sponsorship in the PL.

    However, blowing money on players to play in Saudi Arabia is all part of their sportswashing exercise. They’ll continue to do that without any consideration to the cost.
