Very true. I find it easier to follow the women's team than the rancid men's. Those pens though - the standard was set a long time ago...

Spain have run out 5-1, 5-0 and, most recently, 7-1 winners over the Swiss in their last three matches.

bet365 have got Spain at 1/12 and Switzerland 22/1 with a draw at 11/1 (if I'm reading it right) for the Full Time result.

60 mins gone and still Spain 0-0 Swiss and a goal line clearance...amazed the Swiss have held out this long, but their mentality in previous games impressed me, they just don't give up.

Without a doubt the penalties tonight were comical, and for the first time in the competition I saw several elbows going in from the Swedes, but when you are that small up against some of our stronger women, that's all you have to protect yourself.

I probably got to fancy Spain to win it now. I will watch the Spanish tomorrow in the hope that the Swiss can pull off a shock, but once Spain go two up, I will probably give up.

I do think womens football has a long way to go still, as there are a few dominant teams and more than a few absolutely **** ones, but you only improve that by getting more girls involved, but it's not going to help when Dad takes the piss out of womens football, although I suppose it could make them more determined.
