Agreed. If he can coach as well as he can talk, we'll be OK.

Not sure…but that is possibly the first “like” that Sparkey has ever given a Masky comment! In of itself will not change Masky’s life but he didn’t agree that IB was a twatt…Disappointing that!

Watched the highlights against the shrimpers.
Didn't recognise Joel C. He's grown a couple inches and added a bit of timber.
Not as big as his brother, but looks like he could deal with the physical side of the game.

6ft 6ins 21 year old centre back with Flint Town.

Possibly ideal for BBM's coaching skills. Unlikely to cost much but Crawley and Walsall also interested. Could depend on where he sees the best opportunity for regular first team football.

His manager at Flint is Lee Fowler, Cardiff born. As a player he had more clubs than Rory McIlroy but never played for us.

I always get Lee Fowler and Jason Fowler confused in my head when I see his name....

Hopefully he bigs the club up a bit if he's resigned to losing the guy and it's genuinely someone BBM is after.
Though TBF, not that I want us to come across as big time Charlie's but if Crawley and Walsall are our competition you'd like to think that we'd be clear favourites???

To be honest, if Crawley and Walsall are our competition, maybe we should be setting our sights a bit higher.
And why are we looking at CBs? We've got more of them than you can shake a stick at as it is.

But those we have, apart from Lawlor, hardly give a reason for us to think they are any good.
The one that might suit a new style of play is fragile and reported to be on his way out. I hope Tan is discounting his 'projects' from the debt.
We've probably got a bad reputation on signings now which will make things more difficult in the long run.

Back to CBs, they might not be any good, but we've got 6 of them.
3 probably need to go if BBM wants to sign another.

All we keep flagging is the beed for a DoF to stop us lurching along.

This makes grim reading butts, still almost 5 weeks before the season starts, plenty of time to get players in.

We've only signed 2, both full backs, so some on our board are getting twitchy. We have a couple of misfiring strikers the majority want rid of, BTA and Simms
but I dont see Frank dumping both off.

Don't know which is quieter, this forum or news on signings from the club.:emoticon-0113-sleep

Here you are Remote. Wrong thread but something to watch.

When the city weren’t playing midweek I used to go to Newport for my football fix.

I can’t believe this was 44 years ago. Cracking game though.
