Regardless of what you think about Roberts, we realistically should be signing another right winger and it would be quite hard to sign one worse at prem level - think he would naturally be competing as 3rd/2nd choice.

I personally don't think we need another winger. Not unless we can bring in someone on a free.

LW: Mundle/Adingra (Isidor & Le Fee if desperate as extra)
RW: Talbi/Roberts (Mayenda & Rigg if desperate as extra)

I'd much rather our money go into centre backs, a keeper, and a striker. With another CM if we've got anything left over.

I think we're 5-6 signings away from being done, and a winger wouldn't be one of them for me.

Only exception I'd make to this is if we went for someone like Guessand up front, who can also cover the right wing.

I personally think it would be a mistake to go into the season with only Talbi and Roberts as wingers who can play the right side, but i can also appreciate there are other concerns that are more pressing.

No reason we cant do them all.

A quality loan / development prospect (£5 million-ish) would be perfect to bolster up the RW.

RW is by far my least worry, I think we’d survive without another

2 CB 1 CM 1 ST 1 GK my priority

Same! Adingra can even play both sides too. I think we're well stocked on the wings now.

I wouldn't be surprised if there are games where we want a very defensive shape and we play Sadiki/Diarra a right sided midfielder in a deeper position to defend against an attacking opposition full back.

I suppose my thought is, if we can get a good left footed right winger on loan - then thats the perfect scenario.

Adingra is pretty awful on the right and Talbi is a natural Left winger whos been shifted to the right to accomodate tzolis. I wouldn't want us to leave ourselves short on that side + having a third during afcon would be a nice insurance.

As it stands now, I think Mundle would start on the left and Adingra on the right against West Ham

Adingra is awful on the right imo, he is best cutting onto his right foot - struggles on the right as he has to go down the line

I want 1 more wing option, someone who can play on the wing but also play in as a no10 if needed

    Stop copying me!

But in all seriousness I do think thats the ideal scenario, ludovic blas keeps coming to mind but i think it would be someone younger.

I wouldn't say quality, he is a decent player and has quality close control. The issue is he is slow for a winger, isn't a good threat and he's very inconsistent in the final 3rd

I dont mind Roberts as a squad player, but we need better than him to stay up. I actually think he could be a really useful impact sub at PL level, that's not me being disrespectful to him it's actually a compliment. When the game opens up and he comes on against tired legs he can impact the game.

I hope he makes the step up and I loved his workrate last season, he also came up with key moments during the season (and his assist was class in the final).
