I just don't see how we get all of Eze, Rodrygo, Madueke and Gyokeres without 1 or 2 significant sales. And I haven't seen any of our players with concrete links away from the club.

I know Parma are interested in Fabio Vieira, but need to see more reliable journalists report on that. Likewise with the Trossard to Fenerbahce links.

Yeah Im kinda hoping Madueki is just a backup option for Eze.

I would say there is room for one with Sterling leaving but If we wanted to add Rodrygo as well there's probably gotta be some sales.

Spurs signing Kudus and Gibbs-White - both players who we've been linked with in the past, both of whom would improve us.

Really hope we can get Eze and Gyokeres some point soon instead of dithering.

Reports from Turkish media that Trossard has agreed personal terms with Fenerbahce.

Arsenal and Fenerbahce still need to agree a fee, but the feeling is 'positive', apparently.

How much would you take for him? I'd accept anything around £20m+.

    He's worth £30m - so we'll probably sell for less than 20.

We only got him for £20m. Can’t see him going for more than that. But to get our money back will be a good deal.

Not sure where Kudus would fit in for you.

Saka is (sadly) one of the best in the world, and plays in the same position.

His contract runs out in a year according to Transfermarket. Unlikely we'd get £30m for him unless there's some Saudi clubs drumming up interest. I think anything around £20m mark would be pretty good going.

I've also seen that we may sell Fabio Vieira for around £18m-£20m too. If we can get circa £40m for those 2, that's not too bad. Obviously we'll be taking a hit on Fabio Vieira, but his stock has taken a huge nosedive so we need to cut our losses.

I don't see where Madueke fits for us either, but seems like we'll be signing him for a similar price.

So, if we're insisting on signing a RW for big money, I'd have preferred Kudus - a better and more refined player than Madueke IMO.

i think Kudus has magic at times, but over a season he’s a liability in a team. He’s not disciplined and can be way out of position.
He might be better than Madueke but neither are good enough IMO.

    Subjects that require more study:

Arsenal's determination to help Chelsea avoid PSR issues every season.

Chelsea don't need any help - the owner just sold the women's team to himself for £200m - about 100 times it's value in order to artificially inflate revenue and avoid any PSR issues., and the PL seem powerless to do anything about it. They will financially cheat any way they can and are constantly find ways to do it.

    Zubimendi , Norgaard and Kepa.
Upgrade on Partey and Jorginho IMO and a better #2 keeper also.
This has all been done early and with plenty of time to bring them on tour.
A striker to replace Jesus (injured till late 25) brought in before the tour, and we've done well and done it early.

After looking him up a bit, 24-25 Noni was actually statistically better at everything apart from assists than Trossard. So if we get £20m for Trossard then I can justify it to myself by saying we’ve upgraded Trossard for a younger, better player for only £23m.

Gyokeres, Mosquera and Eze and it becomes a 9/10 window.

Had a panic for half a second. If this was a genuine tweet then I think the toxicity at the stadium would genuinely be the end of Arteta.

Madueke does have something to his game that we may specifically be looking for. He is very direct. I believe he led the league in carries into the penalty area.
He doesn't seem to have a good rate of actually doing much with his work, but the sheer volume and directness creates chances.
I am still not in favour of this signing, BUT if he joins we should give him a clean slate and see how the plan unfolds.

Yeah Arteta was definitely looking for another winger in this mould. Probably why we showed an Interest in Lookman as well.

There was good piece in The Athletic that mentioned how teams had doubled or even tripled up on Saka last Season - which should have given space on the left for Martinelli/Trossard. They were saying Arteta was upset they failed to exploit the space in multiple games.

    Sol Campbell on Madueke...

The part in bold might be the single dumbest thing I have ever heard in football.
He wants the club to explain to everyone - for all our rivals to see and prepare for - exactly why he is buying certain players and his system.
How can someone like Campbell be that pathetically stupid?????????
