As I’ve said repeatedly, I’m pissed off that we are under a fee restriction.

But the only reason we were in with a chance of signing Barry permanently was that they needed to raise quick cash to lessen the chance of them falling foul of Premier League rules.

Let’s see what happens with the EFL appeal.

But at the risk of repeating myself, whether the sanction is upheld or the sanction is completely overturned, you will carry on with the same grudge.

Don't believe I've suggested any of it is OK.

I do care as it's resulted in us being punished. What a weird attitude.

This is false otherwise they would have pulled out of the deal after 30 June, when in reality they kept negotiating into July. They also sold their women's team so had no psr issue.

If Acun turns this around (which isn’t impossible) and our long term vision improves (academy, developing players, financial stability and ultimately improved league position) I will happily change my tune.

As it is, we’ve made multiple mistakes during his ownership. A number of poor decisions on hiring and firing managers, poor transfer record, clear bad financial decisions leading to 2 embargoes (and rumours of poor record with suppliers and the wage issue in April/May).

So no, even if the EFL overturn this fee restriction it won’t be enough for me to have confidence in his decision making. It’s his fault we are in this situation to begin with so him returning us to the status quo should not really be seen as a success.

For me to have faith in him again I need to see a longer term vision with good decisions to cement the stability of the club.

That is possible but he needs to regain my faith before I can trust he’s able to do that.

If we’ve flouted rules and taken risks then we’ve been caught out .
As for our payment process the perfect world doesn’t exist , morally it’s wrong to abuse credit but the commercial world is riddled with greedy people , some could pay sooner but choose not to . Others have to balance ins and outs very carefully to survive - I know this first hand but the. Company is still going and employs about 60 people , if it wasn’t for ‘immoral ‘ at times late payments it would have gone . When you are deli g with a small number of orders of £1m plus then the frequency of those orders m a keys it feast or famine .

Thank you for proving my point.
Please name a previous owner of ours who can tick the box on each of your gold standard minimum criteria.

The signing of Barry is probably separate to the issue. We hadn’t paid the initial loan fee and that’s a proven fact. I can only imagine it was part of the negotiation for the permanent deal but we will likely never know.

Same with Fin Burns. We’ve fallen foul as per the rules EFL set out and they are fully aware of.

If they win the appeal then I’ll hold my hands up on this matter. I don’t think things have been plain sailing throughout the ownership and I think it’s fair to want better given fair and valid reasons many of us and myself included have stated (increasing debt, poor investment into academy, short sighted squad building to name a few).

The frustration with yourself mainly on this board is that any time a poster makes a fair point you said “Yawn” or “Silly ****er” or some other tripe. The one post you put some reasonable points across to me was decent then you followed it up to Syd by being churlish as pointed out by another poster.

FWIW I’m not saying I nor anyone on here who have been vocal against Acun are perfect.

In the same way some have been OTT against the ownership I don’t think it’s an unfair statement to say you’ve been the other side of the pendulum. Willing to be proven wrong.

I see it in my job everyday. Payments are late from various businesses for whatever reason. My issue therein lies is that Acun himself has said he’s willing to cover shortfalls so why hasn’t he when the rules of the EFL sanctions are clear?

An answer to that question would likely clear a lot of the understanding our side up. Is there a liquidity issue with Acun and Acun Medya? Was it piss poor accounting at the club? Or was it incompetence by someone?

As I’ve said. He’s an owner of our football club. If he was the best owner we ever had and got us into the premier league I would still be asking these questions because I care. One transfer window going poorly can be a death knell to a teams short and long term future.

I think most would, and should, accept that Acun has had some mitigating circumstances for this situation IF the appeal is in our favour.

I haven’t been impressed with the transfer policy style since Walter’s pre-season but apart from that Acun has been pretty decent re prices.

The cashflow issues have been for months.

But you take your beautiful great leader at his word if it suits you.

And argue his cause under as many usernames as you like.

Yeah, cos nothings Acun's fault, despite him being the owner and ultimately responsible.

Sorry? In what possible world have I proved your point?

Ive literally provided detail of just how Acun can win back my trust - the problem he has is the issues I have with him relate to far more than just these few restrictions - they are the final straw for me as it stands.

It’s not a gold standard - it’s how decent football club owners operate. It’s also not difficult.

You are acting as if someone can burgle your house, return your stuff but it’s all ok because we are back to the status quo

What transfer policy will that be? Will that be listen to the ITK taxi driver who drives out of Paragon Station and hears all the tips. Or the poster on here who is never, ever wrong and should be in the football recruitment business because he knows a good player, but never got the chance....Take your pick. Both have merit.

Maybe not with regards to City but the Allams personally and business wise were notorious non-payers.

I mean the transfer policy to start a season without enough players.
