They will melt in the streets of that happens. Think Liverpool must be spent up for this summer tnough?
Those are the best drinks, when ours was little we’d have a cheeky afternoon bottle of wine on the balcony while he napped inside. Bliss
Just catching up on here, always check in and there’s 15 more pages so I think here we go and then let myself down slowly as I pass each page Anyway, regarding AFCON… I’m expecting Diarra to probably go most of the way with Senegal so worst case scenario if someone gets to the final they’d miss Leeds(H), City (H), Spurs (A), Brentford (H) and then the final is the day after Palace (H). I’d wager if we sign 5 AFCON players we’ll have a minimum of 4 back before the Palace game (worst case 3 if two are finalists for separate teams) - maybe just Diarra but that’s on my own hunch because I think Senegal look decent. Morocco are the favourites and if they go all the way then Talbi would be an easier loss for that 5th game at Palace. City and Spurs we’ll get nothing from more than likely. Brentford were great at home last season but obviously will be a different team this season with some big losses, still not sure how that one will pan out but realistically Leeds at home could be the only game we’ll be targeting for an “easy” 3 points. I don’t think AFCON losses will be as bad as we think.
£15m+ for a player in the final year of his contract and playing in Serie B last season is a lot of money imo and he’ll be 27 this year so in his best years more than likely but also won’t have the resale value Talbi could. Glad the club aren’t rushing into it and throwing whatever Sassuolo want at them.
You can’t light the touch paper and disappear mind just get another couple of tongue slackeners down ya and don’t fall asleep
