Same and I thought I had high expectations!!!

Ghisolfi feels like the gamechanger. Just signalled the flick of a switch in intent.

Bournemouth will always attract players because they can live in Surrey which has endless large properties, restaurants, smart villages, etc …

… it’s an hour and a half for home games, training, etc and the same for the wives going into London.

    Things like that matter unfortunately.

Like nothing against Speakman as what he's done for this club is immense.

But can you imagine us pre-Ghisolfi saying "you have until the weekend to decide"? (I know we might not have been that blunt).

The narrative and theme with Speakman was always patience and careful, thoughtful action. That definitely has its merits.

But with Ghisolfi it feels like its decisiveness and pace.

Yeh. Assuming he's settled in Surrey anyway (as most Chelsea players are), he might not even have to move house if he signs for Bournemouth

He's just the next level to be brutally honest, he's 100% been brought in to get us the players that'll give us a good chance at staying up and making us look attractive to many players. KLD pretty much said it, and so did Ghisolfi himself

Do we think we’ll get 2 CBs or just 1

I think we need two personally. Don't want Alese or Seelt with their injury records being 4th choice

nor do I ideally want O'Nien being 3rd choice

RCB similar mould to Ballard and a LCB.

Cresswell does fit the first criteria

We will sign 2 imo, we've already lost Mepham from last seasons team and if he stayed we needed 1 more

I think I’d go one absolute step up in quality then keep them both to see how they do until the next window. When we’re in the top 5 we’ll have more options.

Yeah, just think the club think we may get away with 1 if we have O9, Ballard, Alese potentially Reinildo and one more

If they shortened his name to Mel Bard, like Mel Holden, it wouldn't sound so bad, but Melvin sounds like a Science geek <laugh>
