My bed sheets being piss wet through wouldn’t be an accusation. That’s not because of City either.
I don’t think this forum is reflective of the fanbase Diego. Sure, we have a right to be negative about last season as it was a shambles from start to finish.
What you are picking up on here are some strange arguments and grudges that posters hold against each other, they lay in wait for each other to say something/anything they can jump in on.
If I’m honest, I couldn’t tell you who these posters are, because I read the board fleetingly and if it’s a personal jibe, I scroll on by. There are a number of posters I always stop to read as they constantly make good points or at least have something to say about the club, rather than each other.
So no, it’s not an overly negative fanbase, just too many posters on here, filling the board with tittle tattle.

I think I'd prefer Amanda...I never knew what she saw in Les Dennis....But in saying that I saw him in a 'Extras' installment and he was class...By the look on Gervais's face he had a long middle wicket.
Thinking about the Barry transfer and the suggested weekly wage as a stumbling block, anyone know what the average first team at city might be?
I few years ago the average championship wage was supposedly £18k but, if correct, that number would be screwed by the parachute payments.
Not interested in anyone's specific salary, as that should be private, just some averages.

Nobody said we were going bust. I said we were carrying a hell of a lot of debt. Which, when the accounts come out, you'll see.
Acun wanting out was when he was at Fener, before all the fallout. Obviously that's changed now that he isn't there anymore. He said as much in the Q and A that he wasn't giving 100% to Hull City during that time period, few could argue in opposition to that.
On the players downing tools side of it, it's difficult to prove that because I was told it and didn't see it first hand (not sure how I could outside of the performances on the pitch), but might bear looking at some of the media interviews with respective new clubs if some of last seasons lot actually do go. Pedro has gone without much fanfare despite him signing that one year extension, while it wouldn't surprise me to see Kamara go if somebody offers at least what we paid for him (which I can't see happening, nor do I particularly want to see happen). That being said, when I was told that, there weren't plans to shelve Ruben Selles and Jakirovic will want to assess the squad this week anyway, so it might be that those who were being ushered out might stay if he wants them to.
Like myself, Howden, M88 and others have said, we're happy to pass on what we're told, sometimes we see first hand evidence of stuff, most of the time (speaking for myself) we get stuff passed on to us via word of mouth, in my case informally through a friend. If you don't think it's true, that's up to you.

Yeah coming up with an average is difficult due to the significant differences in wage budget across the division. Even within a club like City's you're likely to have people on say c5k a week (Jacob for e.g. was likely in this range) vs others on c30k a week (Giles/Omur reportedly last year!). Maybe a different way to look at it is 'expected wages' of a player delivering x or y. In a wingers case, if someone's going to come in and have a season like Philogene had for us, then 30k a week seems like a bargain, if however they're going to have a season like Omur had (for the 12 months he were here) then 30k seems like a massive overpayment.
In Barry's case....no one knows what he's asked for on here and most importantly no one knows what his output will be, as with the above 30k could be a bargain or a rip off, time will tell. There's also the fee to consider too as part of the whole package but again value would be solely dependant upon how he performs. From the outside, 3.5m and 30k a week for a winger in the championship seems like a gamble worth taking if you can afford for it to go wrong, or at worst not go quite right

Tbf, just my opinion, but I don't think the sensible posters on here have any issue with the likes of you, HT, M88 posting what you've heard. Probably most, me included, like to hear this stuff, realising that it might be true and might on the other hand not be. I've done similar on a small handful of occasions, most recently when I'd heard a couple of weeks in advance that Selles was on his way out (even though for a few days it looked like I'd been fed duff info). It's when certain people, on here and elsewhere, jump on what's been said, grow it legs, dramatise it, and restate it repeatedly as if it's FACT, even when on occasions all the evidence suggests otherwise.
She definitely saw him as a stepping stone as he was very successful back then. Don't particularly like her but do think she is great looking for her age.
I'm not sure buddy, I usually speak to my pal on a Friday so I'll ask then, but for all we know it could be done and dusted by that point
.A sensible guess would be the structure of the payments; if Villa are worried about PSR deadlines then they'll want a decent amount now, which perhaps we don't have to hand unless we can shift Mehlem, Omur and Jacob out first. We will have got some money for Racciopi and we apparently got about £300,000 for Simons.
Getting Omur (who still has two years on his contract), Alzate and Pedro off the books will free up a decent amount of money.
