Game of opinions but he’s no where near the level of any premier league side

He does love a tackle, he just needs to control it at times as he's always wanting to win the ball. Needs to learn when to try to win the ball and when to jockey his opponent.

He can play LCB, he's very similar to Ballard tbh so if people like Ballard they'll like Cresswell. He's a strong lad who does a good job at stopping opponents getting in front of him in the box.

Can force passes at times and this needs to improve at the next level - again very similar to Ballard

CFs won't enjoy the ohsyical battle with Ballard and Cresswell imo

Ideal would be Cresswell and the lad from Valencia

Not imo, I could see the sense of a team playing a back 3 to sign him (like Palace and Wolves) as that suits him a lot more

I get we need squad players but that's what the likes of O9 Alese will be, adding another when we aren't sure if we have PL calibre starters isn't a good move imo

Obviously if we sign him he will have my backing but there's a lot better out there

Random piece of useless information. No idea why I'm posting it, but you could say that about all my posts.

I didn't realise Georges Mikhautadze was actually French but of Georgian descent. Lived in France his whole life.

In a way would help with him settling here with our French connection.

If we were wanting 2 strikers (hypothetically) do you think that hints at a system change with two strikers, or do you think that means Isidor or Mayenda could be moving out wide, or even one of them leaving?

I did find it strange that a Georgian was a lifelong Lyon supporter but it makes a lot more sense now

One good thing about Tanganga is that he can do a job at right back. Looked at through that lens - and considering the ridiculously low price - perhaps there’d still be two more centre halves coming.

We played two strikers at times last season, we were just lucky neither Wilson and Mayenda had issues with injuries, I think we need 4 forwards who can play up top

Imo,we need an out and out goalscorer...a predator.Together with Wilson and Elizer, that will give us the flexibility in forward areas we're going to need.

Personally I'd be bringing in just one forward and having Ogusunyi or Abdullahi (or both) as the fourth.

Would be astonished if we went to a system change using two strikers. Would likely have to be 3atb and I’d be surprised (and a bit dismayed) if we did that.
