Bournemouth lost a lot this summer. After selling Dean Huijsen to Real Madrid, then Milos Kerkez to Liverpool, the Cherries are about to lose Ukrainian Ilya Zabarni, who is very close to joining Paris Saint-Germain for a transfer of around 60 million euros. And inevitably, the English club will have to recruit in central defense. The Cherries are closely scrutinizing Ligue 1 and have already enlisted Adrien Truffert, but they have made Bafodé Diakité, the central defender and pillar of LOSC, an absolute priority. According to information from L'Équipe, the two clubs have already entered into discussions, and the exchanges should lead to an offer to come this week. Under contract until June 2028 and much appreciated by Bruno Genesio, Bafodé Diakité (24) is already in high demand in Europe and Bournemouth will have to put a hell of a price to get one of the most reliable defenders in the French Championship. Yeah maybes just from what I've read and heard and Keiran Maguires post yesterday made it sound like a financial year PSR accounting restarts for these certain clubs so by your example if arsenal signed Kepa say on a 5 yr deal for 5m - it would be 1m June 30th 2024 - June 30th 2025 and so on, so where the fee is split across 5 yrs 3 yrs of that fee payment is accounting towards PSR so when they check arsenals itll show 3m for Kepa - I think so anyways happy for someone to explain properly - I think this is why chelsea split there deals into 7 and 9 yr deals so that the full fee never sits across one PSR cycle they are only declaring one third of a bynoe gittens
100% will be, all branded with not great attitudes, mostly Pembele after his refusal to play for the 21s as he was 'above it'
Couple of players for each position I’d like. Whether I’ve scouted or were linked and I like the link GK: - Bulka (love this link) - Lammens RB: - Oliver Braude - Hampus Skoglund CB: - Wouter Goes - Jeremy Jacquet - Zeze DM: - Lucien Agoume - Ibrahima Sory Bangoura CM: - Lennon Miller - Stije Resink RW: - Bakayoko (maybe a dream) - Jean Bahoya LW: - Lauriente - Bischoff (both these links are perfect) ST: - Mika Biereth - Terem Moffi
Ah right, I see entirely where you're coming from. I know from my own business that you amortise over the life of the asset (the contract length in a footballers case) and split the year if need be. So you'd only have one week's worth (one 52th of £1m) of cost in the accounts to June 2025 if you'd bought him last week. Maybe there's anomalies and different rules for PSR though.
100% on Biereth but isn't Moffi coming back off a pretty bad ACL injury? No idea if he'll be anywhere near where he was before it. Seems it was as bad as it could be.
GK: NEW(Bulka?) / Patto / Moore RB: Hume / Huggins RCB: Ballard / NEW LCB: NEW / O’Nien / Alese LB: Reinildo / Cirkin DM: Neil / NEW LCM : Le Fee / NEW / Browne RCM: Diarra / Rigg RW: NEW / Roberts ST: Mayenda / NEW / Isidor LW: NEW / Mundle any thoughts?? Around a 25 man squad?
Yeah he is. which is my thinking behind it, he would be out of reach without injury, if the club think he’d be fit enough it’s worth a punt
In fairness Monaco are seemingly willing to sell for 30m, granted it's a lot of money but a very good player.
I think that's a decent shout mate, assuming the goalie,Reinildo and Diarra are done. There are a few wild cards to factor in to that....Seelt,Hjelde,Triantis,Abdoullahi....but I think it won't be too far away. Be good to see Neil and Cirkin contract sorted too.
